Abstract: Disclosed herein is a radio frequency filter having a notch structure. The radio frequency filter includes a hollow housing having a plurality of partition walls defining a plurality of cavities and an open surface formed on one side, a cover configured to shield the open surface of the housing, a plurality of resonance elements positioned in the cavities of the housing, a coupling substrate arranged to cross a partition wall between at least two of the plurality of resonance elements, and a tuning screw inserted into the housing through the cover. The partition wall crossed by the coupling substrate includes a support window formed to have a first depth from the open surface, the coupling substrate being arranged through the support window, and a tuning window formed to have a second depth greater than the first depth from the open surface, the tuning screw being inserted into the tuning window.

Abstract: An automatic RF filter tuning system and a method for manufacturing a filter using the same are disclosed. An RF filter tuning system for tuning an RF filter that includes a plurality of cavities having resonance elements and a cover having tuning areas that are positioned correspondingly to the resonance elements, includes a measuring unit configured to measure resonance characteristics of the cavity of the RF filter, a control unit configured to calculate a tuning value of the RF filter based on the resonance characteristics, and a tuning unit configured to tune the RF filter based on the tuning value calculated by the control unit. The tuning unit includes a striking unit configured to strike the tuning area of the cover of the RF filter, thereby adjusting the resonance value and tuning the RF filter.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a radio frequency filter having a cavity structure, comprising: a container which has a hollow inner portion and a cavity that is cut off from the outside, and a resonance element which is placed in the hollow inner portion of the container, wherein the container has a wrinkled structure for adjusting the intervals between a longitudinal front end surface of the resonance element and the inner surfaces of the container facing the longitudinal front end surface using external pressure. Thus, the invention can be further miniaturized and is lightweight, and the design of the invention enables frequency tuning without employing a coupling structure of a tuning screw and a fastening nut, thereby obtaining a convenient and simplified structure.
