Abstract: A power tool includes a hammer mechanism, a brushless motor and a cooling fan. The brushless motor includes a rotary member having a motor shaft operably coupled to the hammer mechanism for linearly driving a tool accessory. The cooling fan has a first blade part and is configured to be rotated by the rotary member. The cooling fan includes a polymer portion, which forms at least a portion of the first blade part, and a metal portion disposed in or on the polymer portion. When viewed in a direction parallel to a rotational axis of the cooling fan, the metal member at least partially overlaps the first blade part in a radial direction of the cooling fan.

Abstract: A dust collecting system includes a power tool configured to perform processing operation on a workpiece by driving a tool accessory and a dust collector configured to collect dust generated by the processing operation. The power tool includes a first motor, a driving mechanism, a body housing, a first detecting device, an operation member and a second detecting device. The first detecting device is configured to detect an operation of pressing the tool accessory against the workpiece. The operation member is configured to be externally operated by a user. The second detecting device is configured to detect an operation of the operation member. The dust collector includes a second motor and a fan. The dust collecting system includes a first control device configured to control driving of the second motor based on detection results of the first detecting device and the second detecting device.

Abstract: A dust collecting system includes a power tool and a dust collector. The dust collector includes a body, a sliding part, a biasing member, a lock member and an actuator. The body is configured to be removably attached to the power tool. The sliding part is held by the body so as to be slidable along a sliding axis. The biasing member is configured to bias the sliding part forward to hold the sliding part in a first position. The lock member is configured to lock the sliding part relative to the body in a second position. The actuator is configured to unlock the sliding part locked by the lock member, by operating in response to a motor-starting operation for the power tool by a user.
