Abstract: A reciprocating tool includes a motor, a driving mechanism, a body housing, a movable part, and a vibration control mechanism. The driving mechanism includes a reciprocating member configured to reciprocate in a first direction. The movable part is connected to the body housing via a first elastic member and a second elastic member to be relatively movable in the first direction. The vibration control mechanism includes at least one weight configured to move in a direction opposite to the reciprocating member. The center of gravity of the at least one weight is offset from the driving axis in a second direction. In the second direction, the first elastic member is closer to the center of gravity than the second elastic member. A load of the first elastic member when the movable part is placed in a closer position is smaller than a load of the second elastic member.

Abstract: An improved technique relating to mounting of a battery in an impact tool which has a handle configured to move with respect to a tool body. A hammer drill has a body, a handle part and a battery mounting part. The handle part is configured to slide with respect to the body under a biasing force of a coil spring. The battery mounting part has a plurality of mounting parts. At least one of the mounting parts of the battery mounting part is connected to the handle part and slides together with the handle part with respect to the body during operation.

Abstract: A dust collecting device 140 is provided which is attached to an electric hammer 101 having a side handle 110 which is removably attached to a body 103. The dust collecting device 140 has a dust collecting hood 141 and a hose holder 145. The side handle 110 has a mounting ring 111 which is mounted on the body 103, a grip 121 and a grip securing part 131. The grip 121 is secured by moving relative to the grip securing part 131 in a direction crossing an axial direction of the hammer bit 200. By this relative movement for securing the grip 121, the hose holder 145 is held between the grip 121 and the grip securing part 131.

Abstract: A motor unit may include: a motor including a motor shaft extending in a first direction; a body housing disposed on an outer side of the control circuit board and the motor housing; a first fixing part configured to be fixed to the working unit; a first and second vibration-proof members disposed between the body housing and the motor housing. The first fixing part is placed on a placement surface when the motor unit is placed on the placement surface. In an up-down direction perpendicular to the placement surface, at least a part of the first vibration-proof member and at least a part of the second vibration-proof member may be disposed below an upper end of the motor when the motor unit is placed on the placement surface. Abstract: A rotary hammer includes a motor, a manipulation member, a main switch, a mode-switching member, a first locking member and a second locking member. The first locking member is configured to selectively lock the manipulation member in an OFF position according to a switching position of the mode-switching member. Abstract: A rotary tool includes a motor, a final output shaft, a housing, a detecting mechanism, an interrupting mechanism and a solenoid. The motor includes a motor body and a motor shaft. The final output shaft is configured to be rotationally driven by torque transmitted from the motor shaft. The housing houses the motor and the final output shaft. The detecting mechanism is configured to detect a motion state of the housing. The interrupting mechanism is provided on a transmission path of the torque from the motor shaft to the final output shaft, and configured to interrupt transmission of the torque. The solenoid includes a linearly movable actuation part and is configured to mechanically actuate the interrupting mechanism via the actuation part based on the motion state of the housing detected by the detecting mechanism.
