Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent piping from breaking due to vibration and reduce noise thereof by installing a resilient cylindrical part around the outside of the refriger ant pipe connecting the compressor and the refrigerating air conditioning system, which resilient part lines the inner surface of a cylindrical metallic weight divided into pieces with a slit running in the axial direction of cylinder which corresponds to the location of division. CONSTITUTION:When a compressor 9 compresses the refrigerant, there will be load fluctuation and mechanical imbalance which cause the compressor 9 to generate vibration. Since the mass of a pipe 10 extending from the compressor 9 is by far smaller than the compressor 9, the vibration is transmitted with little damping. By fixedly installing a cylindrical metallic weight 17 to the refrigerant pipe 10 via a cylindrical resilient part 18, however, high frequency wave and fundamental wave vibrations can be damped owing to the vibration damping effect of the double layers of the cylindrical resilient part 18 and metallic weight 17. At the time of installation through a slit 19, weight halves 17a and 17b do not interfere with each other because of the presence of a free space 20, facilitating the installation work and allowing the cost reduction.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce vibration by installing an M-figure-shaped installation board having two leg parts and a recessed part from a sealed case part and fastening pipings by a fixing tool having a recessed part. CONSTITUTION:A discharge pipe 12 and suction pipe 13 project outwardly from a cover part 4, and are bent towards a motor 8 side, and fixed in the vicinity of the edge part 3a on the motor 8 side of a cylindrical part 3 by a fixing metal fitting 14. The fixing metal fitting 14 is constituted of an installation board 15 consisting of two leg parts 15a and 15b and a recessed part 15c and a fixing tool 16 having the recessed part 16a corresponding to the recessed part 15c. Since pipings are fixed again at the part having a small fundamental wave vibration of a sealed case, vibration can be reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress noise generated by vibration of mounts which are welded and stuck to the end parts of the closed cases of a closed-type rotary compressor and support and firmly settle the closed-type rotary compressor by welding and sticking the mounts to the end of the closed cases at the points where the inherent vibration mode changes to lower vibration mode. CONSTITUTION:A rotary compressor 1 has a closed case 2 consisting of a shell part 2a and closing shells 2b and 2c welded thereto at the front and rear parts, and contains a motored compressing element firmly. A center pin 3 is welded and stuck to the closed case 2 at the position approximately aligned with the axis of the motored compressing element and a front mount 4 is joined with said pin 3 via a vibro-isolating rubber 5. A rear mount 10 is welded and stuck to the closed case 2 at the position B where the vibration mode of the rear closing shell 2c of the closed case 2 changes to lower inherent vibration mode. The mount 10 may then be prevented from generating vibration due to vibration- caused deformation of the closing shell 2c so that noise creation can be restrained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress noise without reducing the compression efficiency by installing a plurality of ribs at the positions unequally divided on the periphery of the cylindrical part of a sealed case. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of ribs 24c in the axial direction which project towards the center at the positions unequally divided on the circumference and are continuous to the edge part 24b side close to the center part from the vicinity of the edge part 24a are installed onto the cylinder part 24 of a sealed case 23. A plurality of ribs 24d which project towards the center at the positions unequally divided on the circumference and are continuous to the edge part 24b side close to the center part from the vicinity of the edge part 24b are installed. Therefore, the characteristic frequency due to the deformation of the sectional surface in the axial direction of the sealed case 23 and the deformation of the circular section is shifted to the higher frequency region, and the natural vibration mode in the audio frequency region can be reduced. Further, since the amplitude of the vibration can be reduced, noise can be reduced without reducing the compression efficiency.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the vibration of a closed case by forming an axially projected fitting part which has circular outer and inner peripheries and in which the center of the outer periphery is eccentrically lower than the center of the inner periphery, on the edge part of the cover part on the compressing element side of a closed case. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical edge part 26 of a cover part 24 on a compressing element 6 side has a fitting part 27 with a projected form. The inner periphery 27a of the fitting part 27 has the same inner peripheral diameter as that of the edge part 26 with their centers being the same, and its outer periphery 27b has a smaller diameter than the outer peripheral diameter of the edge part 26 while its center is sided lower than the center of the inner periphery 27a. Due to such structure, the thickness of the lower part 27c of the fitting part 27 of the cover part 24 is increased, increasing the rigidity of the bottom part 17a of the cylindrical part 18 of a closed case 17. Thereby, the natural frequency of the closed case 17 is increased, reducing noise.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce noise by setting the position of a small groove of a bearing and the position of a hole of a partition plate at about 1/4 and about 1/2 or at about 1/2 and about 1/4 of a longitudinal length of a recess of the bearing respectively. CONSTITUTION:A recess 19 communicating at a position about 1/4 of its length in the longitudinal direction via a small groove 18 with a recess 17 is arranged on a bearing 16 at a position outside the periphery of a surface 16c which is in close contact with a cylinder 7 on the cylinder side surface 16b of the bearing 16. A partition plate 21 is provided with a hole 21a at a position corresponding to about 1/2 of the length in the longitudinal direction of the recess 19. Accordingly, an expansion pressure component of refrigerant produced in the cylinder is attenuated as it passes through an expansion chamber 19a by an effect of expansion type silencing of 1/2 insertion type and 1/4 insertion type and as a result noise is reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of the noise of a compressor by forming a recessed part for installing a valve and a recessed part for the communication to the above- described recessed part through a small groove onto the counter-cylinder surface of a bearing so as to be positioned on the outer peripheral side in comparison with the flat surface part of the cylinder and installing a partitioning plate having a hole between the bearing and a discharge cover. CONSTITUTION:A recessed part 13 for accommodating and installing a valve 13a and a recessed part 15 which is arranged at the position on the outer peripheral side in comparison with the surface closely attached with the flat surface part of the cylinder 7 of a cylinder side surface 12b and allows the communication to the recessed part 13 through a small groove 14 are formed onto the counter-cylinder surface 12a of a bearing 12 on an electric motor side. A partitioning plate 17 having a hole 17a for the communication between the recessed part 15 and a discharge chamber 18b is installed between the bearing 12 and a discharge cover 18. With such constitution, the pressure pulsation component of coolant which is generated in the cylinder 7 is sufficiently attenuated by a discharge chamber 18b and an expansion chamber 15 which is formed by the recessed part 15 and the partitioning plate 17, and the generation of the noise of the compressor can be reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of noise of a compressor and to prevent lowering of compression efficiency due to strain of a bearing, by a method wherein a delivery cover, with which a groove is covered, is attached to a bearing in which a groove extending throughout a whole periphery is formed in a surface opposite to a cylinder in a range of from a surface, adhered to the flat surface of a cylinder, to a position forming an outer periphery. CONSTITUTION:A recessed part 13 for mounting a valve and a groove 14, situated throughout a whole periphery in a range of from a surface 12c adhered to the flat part of a cylinder 7 to a position, forming an outer periphery, are formed in a surface 12b opposite to a cylinder of a bearing 12, the whole periphery of which is securely welded to the inner peripheral surface of a closed case 2. A cup-shaped discharge cover 15 is situated on the surface 12b, opposite to a cylinder, of the bearing 12 in a manner to cover the groove 14 therewith. This constitution increases the volume of a discharge chamber 15b in the discharge cover 15 thanks to the presence of the groove 14, reduces the generation of noise due to pressure pulsation, absorbs strain and deformation occurring when the bearing 12 is securely welded to the closed case 2, and prevents lowering of compression efficiency due to leak of gas.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the resonance of air column in an enclosed case and increase muffling effect ranging over a very large zone by forming an expansion chamber with the recessed part of a bearing and a partition board and, further, forming a resonance chamber with said partition board and a discharge cover and, thus, providing mufflers in two stages. CONSTITUTION:An expansion chamber 16 a is formed by a recessed part 16 which is connected to a straight linear recessed part 15 for housing and installing a valve 15a, provided on the surface 14a opposite to a cylinder, of a bearing 14, together with a partition board 17 provided in between the bearing 14 and a cup-shaped discharge cover 18. Further, a resonance chamber 18a is formed by the partition board 17 and the discharge cover 18. Thereby, a pressure pulsating ingredient of a refrigerant generated in a cylinder 7 can be fairly damped down due to an expansion type muffling effect by means of said expansion chamber 16a. Furthermore, resonance type muffler by means of the resonance chamber 18a provided right before discharging into the space of an enclosed case 2, can prevent the resonance of air column produced in the space of the enclosed case 2 due to a two-stage muffling effect, widely increasing and securing the muffling effect, to lower the noise of a compressor.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain wide silencing effect through additional action of resonant type silencing effect of a discharging chamber by providing a bearing having a hole communicating both faces of cylinder side and counter cylinder side with each other and a cylinder having a hole communicating to the hole of the bearing. CONSTITUTION:Coolant compressed in a cylinder 13 is discharged into a discharging chamber 10a from a valve hole 19, and discharged furthermore from the discharging hole 10b of a discharging cover 10 into the space in a sealed case. The pressure pulsation of the coolant generated in the cylinder 13 is damped by silencing effect of the discharging chamber 10a. This time, the discharging chamber 10a is communicated to a bearing 12 and a chamber 18 provided in the cylinder 13, and the chamber 18 acts as a side branch type silencer against the pressure pulsation in the discharging chamber 10a. Therefore, wide silencing effect can be obtained by setting the frequency silenced of the chamber 18 to the center of frequency region not damped by the discharging chamber 10a.
