Abstract: An oscillation-type compressor comprising: a block (302) and a piston (5); a motor (3) including a stator (3a) and a mover (3b); a movable element (12) including said motor (3b) and said piston (5); a stationary element (13) including said block (302) and said stator (3a); an elastic element (314) having a portion fixed to said movable element (12) and another portion fixed to said stationary element (13); a cylinder (4) accommodating said piston (5) so as to allow said piston (5) reciprocating in an axial direction; a displacement detector (319) connected to said piston (5) in the axial direction for detecting a position near a top dead center of said piston (5); top dead center position detecting means (320) for obtaining said top dead center position of said piston (5) based on a signal obtained from said displacement detector (319); current/voltage detecting means (321) for detecting a current or voltage value of said motor (3); and power supply means (322) for changing the voltage applied to said motor (3) based on output signals of said top dead center position detecting means (320) and said current/voltage detecting means (321).

Abstract: A vibrating compressor which may be employed in refrigerators is provided which includes an elastic mechanism designed to produce reaction against movement of a piston through a moving mechanism such as an electric motor to oscillate the piston to change the volume of a compression chamber. The elastic mechanism consists of a plurality of discs connecting at the center with the piston. Each of the discs has slits curved in a scroll fashion to form spring arms. The discs are laid to overlap each other and shifted in angular position from each other so that the arms of one of the discs coincide with the slits of adjacent one of the discs, thereby avoiding direct contact of the arms of adjacent two of the discs.

SOLUTION: This controller comprises a detection means 31 for detecting the temperature or pressure of the cooling system, a frequency determining means 32 for determining the power source frequency on the basis of a detection signal, and outputting a determination signal, and a frequency-changing means 33 for changing the power source frequency of a power source on the basis of the determination signal, and the power source frequency is made to coincide with the resonance frequency without affected by the change of the load condition of the cooling system to operate the linear compressor 1 with high frequency at all times.

SOLUTION: An oil stirring plate 32 immersed in an oil 2 is rotated to form a rotational flow in the oil 2, whereby a cylinder 31 is cooled because a heat exchange portion 31a of the cylinder 31 immersed in the oil 2 is heat-exchanged with the oil 2 to cause lower temperature rise of a cooling medium gas sucked in the cylinder 1 to provide high refrigerating ability and efficiency.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration type compressor for coolant cycle, in which adjacent arms are prevented from making contact with each other without adding a member for holding a gap between flat plates composed of resilient members stacked one upon another, in order to prevent abrasion and slide loss caused by slide motion between the arms, and to prevent the refrigerating capacity from being lowered caused by an increase in the weight of a movable element. SOLUTION: Flat plates 19 each having a slit 20a and an arm 21a which is narrower than the slit 20a, and formed of a resilient member, are stacked one upon another so that the arms 21a and the slits 20a are alternately faced with one another. With this arrangement, it is possible to prevent abrasion and slide loss which are caused by sliding between the arms 21a, without adding a member for holding a gap between the flat plates 19, and to prevent the refrigerating capacity from being lowered caused by an increase in the weight of a movable element.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sliding part from being worn and seized by providing a communicating pipe whose one end opens in lubricating oil and other end opens at the inner periphery of a cylinder and a communicating hole which connects the hollow part to the outer periphery of a piston. SOLUTION: When alternating current is passed through a stator, a moving element is attracted and a piston 5 is reciprocated by elastic force stored in an oil spray member between the moving element and a bearing. When the stroke of the piston 5 is increased and moved in the direction opposite to compression, a communicating hole 20 of the piston 5 communicates with a communicating pipe 19 and a hollow part 11 in the piston 5 communicates with lubricating oil 12 in the hermetic easing. When the pressure in the hollow part 11 having a communicating hole 20 is relatively lowered, the lubricating oil 12 is introduced into the hollow part 11 via the communicating pipe 19 and the communicating hole 20 and part of the lubricating oil 12 is directly supplied to the sliding part between the piston 5 and the cylinder 3.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent wear of a sliding part, lowering of sealing performance, and overheating of refrigerant gas by reducing the quantity of lubricating oil taken out of a closed casing and by constantly soaking a part of a resonant spring in the lubricating oil. CONSTITUTION: In a pressure controlling mechanism 16, the pressure, which is introduced from the low pressure within a suction pipe and from the high pressure within a discharging pipe 12 is adjusted by pressure regulating valves 16a, 16b, so that the pressure becomes the intermediate pressure (lying between high and low), which is introduced into a back pressure room 14 later. Since the lower part of a resonant spring 8 within the back pressure room 14 is soaked in lubrication oil 17, when the spring 8 expands/contracts in the axial direction of a piston 5, accompanying the reciprocal motion of the piston 5, the spring 8 stirs the lubricating oil 17 so that the lubricating oil 17 is scattered within the back pressure room 14. Owing to the lubricating oil 17 scattered, a sliding part between a cylinder 4 and the piston 5 or a sliding part between a bearing 6 and the piston 5 can be sufficiently lubricated and cooled, thereby preventing wear of the sliding part, lowering of sealing performance, and overheating of the refrigerant gas.
