    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a high accuracy air-conditioner in which optimal voltage- frequency characteristics are sustained at all times for the output from an inverter unit regardless of increase/decrease of load and vibration is suppressed through simple circuitry for switching waveform pattern. CONSTITUTION:The air-conditioner comprises a circuit 19 for detecting the number of revolution of a compressor 2, a waveform generating unit 20 storing waveform patterns having different voltage-frequency characteristics, a unit 24 for operating a frequency omegas variable with load current based on a number of rotation signal fed from the number of rotation detecting circuit 19, and a waveform generating unit 21 for taking in a waveform pattern having optimal voltage-frequency characteristics from the waveform memory 20 depending on the slip: frequency operated through the operating unit 24 and generating a waveform to be fed to an inverter unit 18.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve comfortableness by deciding an operating frequency accord ing to a signal from outdoor control means in a captioned apparatus having an operating frequency control inverter of a compressor, and correcting it by a correction frequency obtained from a next suction temperature expected from suction temperatures of previous and this times and a suction temperature lower limit value. CONSTITUTION:When an air conditioner is operated, outdoor control means 11 outputs a signal f8, and starts to operate frequency instructing means 19. The means 19 decides an operating frequency of a compressor 1 in response to a capacity necessary for a system according to an indoor temperature, etc., outputs a signal f9 to inverter control means 20 and drives the compressor 1. Suction temperature sensing means 17 senses a suction temperature. Sensing temperature predicting means 21 predicts next time suction temperature. Sensing temperature deciding means 18 compares it with a suction temperature lower limit value, and sends a correction frequency f12 for correcting the operating frequency of the compressor 1 to the means 19. The means 19 corrects the operating frequency by the correction frequency, and outputs it to the means 20.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable execution of high-temperature blowoff at the rise time and control of a room temperature to be fixed, by computing the amount of operation of an electric expansion valve by conducting fuzzy logic computation on the basis of detected information and a control rule taken out of a memory device. CONSTITUTION:The degree of excessive cooling or the degree of excessive heating, which is the information of a cooling system of an air-conditioner, is detected by a detecting device 16, and a control rule based on an empirical rule for determining the amount of operation of an electric expansion valve is stored in a memory device 22, in relation to the information detected by the detecting device 16. Based on the information detected by the detecting device 16 and the control rule taken out of the memory device 22, subsequently, fuzzy logic computation is executed and the amount of operation of the electric expansion valve is computed by a fuzzy inference processor 21. As the result, a control can be executed with the opening of the electric expansion valve being optimum for the cooling system in a state wherein a load in a stable time changes suddenly or at the rise time of operation, for instance.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To detect plural areas by a single infrared-ray sensor and to detect whether or not a person is present in respective areas through a human body detecting device by converging infrared rays through a condenser lens and making only a desired area of the infrared rays reach the infrared-ray sensor, and detecting the temperature in a room by the areas by a temperature output device. CONSTITUTION:The temperature detector 17 sends its output signal (a) to a timing switching device 19 at the timing of the output signal and the device 19 receives the timing of the signal (a) with an input signal (b) and drives an infrared-ray scattering device 14 at timing of each of timing signals (c) - (f). Then only the desired area of the infrared rays which are converged through the condenser lens 13 is transmitted by the device 14 to the sensor 13 and the temperature output device 16 detects the temperature of respective areas in the room to detect the areas by the single sensor 13. Further, the functional component is replaced with an electric component to minimize the price of a temperature detection part 9. Further, the human body detecting device 18 is provided to detect whether or not a human body is present in respective areas.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To detect the temperature of respective areas in a room and whether or not a person is present by transmitting only a desired area of infrared rays, converged by a condenser lens, by an infrared-ray shield device and transmitting only infrared ray with desired wavelength through an infrared-ray sensor to an infrared-ray sensor. CONSTITUTION:Only the desired area of the infrared rays converged by the condenser lens 15 is transmitted by the infrared-ray shield device 14 and only the infrared rays with the desired wavelength is transmitted through the infrared-ry filter 16 to the infrared-ray sensor 13. Then a temperature output device 17 detects the temperature of respective areas and whether or not there is a person by the single sensor 13. Further, a function component is replaced with an electric component to minimize the price of a temperature detection part 9 and secure long-period life and reliability.

CONSTITUTION:A transistor inverter device is composed of a rectifying smoothing circuit 1, a main circuit transistor group 2 consisting of first-second main circuit transistors(Tr) 3-4, a motor 5, a waveform generating section 6, etc. A voltage detector 7 is installed to the transistor inverter device, saturation voltage between the collector and emitter of the first main circuit Tr 3 is detected, and a signal Va corresponding to the saturation voltage is output. An ON-delay time control circuit 8 is mounted, the output voltage Va of said voltage detector 7 and the base drive signal of the waveform generating section 6 are input to the control circuit 8, and the ON delay time Td corresponding to the voltage Va is set to the base drive signal and output. Accordingly, the ON delay time Td is optimized, thus reducing the strain of output currents.

An ON-ready time control circuit 8 delays a base drive signal output from a waveform generator 6 at the ON-ready time responsive to the collector current of the main circuit transistor detected by a collector current detector 7, and supplied to the bases of the transistors 3, 4. Thus, the distortion of the output current of a transistor inverter device can be reduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To conserve power of a base drive circuit, by detecting the operation of a main circuit transistor through discriminating the polarity of VCE (collector- emitter voltage) and by making the detection a condition for supplying a base current or not. CONSTITUTION:A transistor inverter apparatus is composed of DC power supply 1, a transistor bridge 2 forming an inverter circuit, and a load 3, and also furnished with VCE polarity discriminator circuit 12, waveform generator 13, and a base current cutting circuit 14. Further, the base current cutting circuit 14 drives main circuit transistor 10, 11 on the AND condition of the output drive signal of the waveform generator 13 and the output polarity discrimination signal of the VCE polarity discriminator circuit 12. Thus, a base current is not permitted to flow for a period unnecessary for the transistors 10, 11 so that power can be conserved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To present a main circuit transistor group from damaging by detecting by an insufficient voltage detector an insufficient DC voltage, and stopping an inverter by a base drive signal interrupter. CONSTITUTION:A transistor inverter protecting device is composed of a rectifying and smoothing circuit 1, a main circuit transistor group 2, a motor 3, a power source 4, a short-circuit protecting unit 5', a waveform generator 6, an insufficient voltage detector 7, a base drive signal interrupter 8 and a base driver 9. The unit 5' is provided between the circuit 1 and the detector 7. Thus, when the primary AC voltage of the circuit 1 is momentarily reduced to cause a voltage drop, the reduced DC voltage at the secondary side is detected by the detector 7. An output signal is so output to the interrupter 8 as to interrupt the base drive signal transmitted from the generator 6 to the driver 9, thereby stopping an inverter.
