Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor having a simplified structure by improving motor efficiency. SOLUTION: This linear motor consists of a cylindrical movable part 21 with the intersection of X and Y axes as a central axis, an inner yoke 22 that is arranged inside the movable part 21 at a prescribed interval in the radial direction of the movable part 21, while a number of thin plates in nearly a rectangular shape are piled up in the direction of the X-axis, and an outer yoke 24 that is arranged outside the movable part with a prescribed interval in the radial direction of the movable part 21, while a number of thin plates 25 in a nearly rectangular shape are piled up in the same direction as a thin plate 23. The movable part 21 consists of a pair of permanent magnets 33 and 34, that are magnetized from the side of the inner yoke 22 to the side of the outer yoke 24, thus improving motor efficiency without causing the trust of the linear motor from becoming unstable, and at the same time facilitating the manufacture of the linear motor.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor the efficiency of which is improved and the manufacture of which is made easier. SOLUTION: A linear motor is constituted of prism-like inner and outer yokes 1 and 3 which are respectively formed by laminating rectangular sheet metals 2 and 4 having high permeability upon another, coils 12 wound around the central electrodes of three magnetic poles 6, 7, and 8 so as to alternately form different magnetic poles in the laminating direction of the sheet metals 4 of the outer yokes 3, yoke blocks 10 constituted by facing the surfaces of the outer yokes 3 having the magnetic poles to the inner yokes 1 through prescribed spaces, a plate-like base which holds one set of yoke blocks 10 in a facing state, and movable sections 13 which are constituted by holding a pair of plate-like permanent magnets 14 and 15 in the spaces 9 between the inner yokes 1 and outer yokes 3 at prescribed intervals in the axial direction so that the directions of magnetization of the magnets 14 and 15 may become opposite to each other. Therefore, the efficiency of the linear motor can be improved by reducing the iron loss and, at the same time, the manufacture of the motor becomes easier and the manufacturing cost of the motor is reduced.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor which is improved in motor efficiency and the manufacturing method which is simplified. SOLUTION: A linear motor is constituted of prism-like inner yoke 1 and outer yoke 3 formed by laminating rectangular thin plates 2 having high magnetic permeability upon another, coils 12 wound around the central ones of three magnetic poles, so as to alternately form different magnetic poles in the axial direction 5 of the outer yoke 3, yoke blocks 10 respectively constituted by facing the surfaces of the outer yoke 3 having the magnetic poles to the inner yoke 1 through prescribed spaces, a plate-like base which holds the set of yoke blocks 10 in a facing state, and a mobile section which holds a pair of plate-like permanent magnets 14 and 15 in the spaces between the inner yoke 1 and outer yoke 3 at prescribed intervals in the axial direction, so that the directions of the magnetization of the magnets 14 and 15 are opposite to each other. Therefore, the core loss of the linear motor is reduced, and the motor efficiency of the motor is improved. In addition, the manufacture of the motor is simplified, and the manufacturing cost of the motor can be also reduced.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a circuit and a compressor from breakdown by suspending the operation thereof if lock is generated for N times continuously because if lock is generated in the compressor, stress is given to the circuit and compressor, giving thereto the breakdown in the worst case. SOLUTION: A motor controller for compressor comprises an AC power source 11, a rectifier circuit 12, an inverter circuit 13, a DC motor 14, a compressor 15, a position detecting means, a commutating means 17, a number of rotation command means 18, a lock judging means 19, a number of rotation command means 20, a lock counting means 23, a first timer count means 22, a duty setting means 23, a chopping signal generating means 24, a combining means 25 and a drive means 26. Therefore, if lock is generated for N times continuously, operation of the compressor 15 is stopped and is never started again to protect the circuit or compressor 15 from breakdown.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To enlarge the change width of output voltage without reducing motor efficiency by controlling the output voltage of a DC-DC converter and switching circuit with a signal to control the revolution of a motor, and putting the coil used in the DC-DC converter in common to one for use of power supply to each control part. CONSTITUTION: A revolution control means (Rc) 15 outputs control signals of frequency and output voltage for controlling the revolution of a motor 14. A RAM controller 16 controls the output voltage of a DC-DC converter (DC) 11 with the control signal of RC15. A PWM control means 17 controls a switching circuit 12 with the control signal of RC 15. A primary coil 18 is used for as a reactance inserted on the positive side between output terminals of a full wave rectification circuit 1. A transformer 19 uses the primary coil 18. Therefore, the amplitude of the pseudo sine waves and the frequency of pseudo sine waves of the switching circuit 12 can be varied with DC 11, so the change with of the output voltage can be enlarged without reducing motor efficiency.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect the reverse rotation of a compressor due to erroneous wiring between an inverter circuit and a d.c. motor, and to stop and restart the compressor in the forward rotation. CONSTITUTION:A rotational direction detecting means A17 detects the forward/ reverse rotation of a rotary compressor 5 through compressor temperatuxre. If it is detected that the compressor 5 is operating in reverse due to erroneous wiring, the compressor 5 is stopped. Then a starting sequence control means 13 outputs commutation pulses, stored in a means 15 for storing starting sequence for correction, and chopping signals, and the compressor 5 is thereby restarted in the forward rotation.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To realize power saving for a refrigerator by controlling the number of revolutions of a fan motor for a compressor in response to the number of revolution of the compressor and further eliminating an operation of the motor for the compressor when a compressor temperature is low and air supply is not required even during operating of the compressor. CONSTITUTION:A compressor 7 and a fan motor 8 for the compressor are controlled for the number of revolutions according to an output voltage of a step-up type rectifier 10. When an atmospheric temperature detected by atmospheric temperature detecting means 20 is low and an input current of the compressor 7 detected by current detecting means 14 is small, it is not necessary to cool the compressor 7, and hence the motor 8 for the compressor is not operated even during operating of the compressor. Thus, unnecessary air supply to the compressor 7 can be eliminated.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an operation controller for controlling r.p.m. of a DC motor through PWM control in which ON duty of chopping is prevented from lowering at the time of low r.p.m. and thereby lowering of efficiency is suppressed at the time of low r.p.m. CONSTITUTION:A commutating section switching circuit 13 selects a low voltage converting circuit, i.e., a commutation circuit 13, in a commutating section 14 for low r.p.m. of a DC motor 4 while selects a high voltage converting circuit, i.e., a double voltage commutation circuit, in the commutating section 14 for high r.p.m. of the DC motor 4. Since ON duty of chopping can be increased even for low r.p.m., lowering of efficiency can be suppressed at the time of low r.p.m.
