Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress the increase in size of a shape in space and to make it possible to change light paths highly accurately by alternately switching and driving four pulse motor drivers which drive automatic mirror gimbal having two double-shaft motors with a control signal and a driving signal which are outputted from one driving controller. CONSTITUTION:At first, switches 2a and 2b are switched to the side (1) with a control signal (a) which is outputted from a driving controller 1 when an automatic mirror gimbal 5a is controlled. Then, a driving signal (b) is sent out. The driving signal is sent to pulse motor drivers 3a and 3b. Pulse motors 4a and 4b perform specified stepping with the driving signal. A desired inclination is imparted to the automatic mirror gimbal 5a. When the switches 2a and 2b are switched to side of (2), an automatic mirror gimbal 5b can be driven.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To electrically detect defocusing of an objective lens to a minute target by providing two photodetectors in positions equally distant from the position conjugate to the reflected optical image from the target and obtaining the difference between their detection outputs. CONSTITUTION:A laser light 19 is condensed on a minute alignment target 11 through a transmission mirror 10 and an objective lens 12. The reflected light from the target 11 is condensed by an eyepiece 13; and when first and second photodetectors 14 and 16 are arranged before and after the position conjugate to the reflected optical image in positions equally distant from this position, the difference between their detection outputs indicates the extent of deviation between the focus of the objective lens 12 and the target 11. Consequently, detection outputs are inputted to a differential amplifier 18 and the objective lens 12 is so adjusted that the difference is zero, thereby objectively and quickly detecting the defocusing to the minute target 11 as an electric signal.

A melody generation part 14a of a voice control part 14 generates a melody corresponding to the kind of E-mail retrieved under the control of a control part 10 and sends it out to a speaker 2.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a device and method for measuring a point-to-point distance by which the distance between two points, even when the visibility is obstructed, can be easily measured. CONSTITUTION:A point-to-point distance measuring device 1 is provided with a laser distance measuring means 2 that emits a laser light C to a desired reference object P0 and measures a distance to the object P0 based on the reciprocating time of the laser light C, a horizontal-direction measuring means 3 to measure an angle forming against the horizontal plane out of the emission angles of the laser light C, and a due north measuring means 4 to measure a bearing angle forming against the north direction out of the emission angles of the laser light C. Especially, a clinometer is preferably used as the means 3 to measure the elevation angle, and a compass or the like as the means 4 to measure the bearing angle, respectively.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To properly count frame pulse errors and to monitor the state of frame pulses by invalidating the output of a memory inputoutput comparator circuit by means of an OR circuit and only monitoring the output of a received- signal comparator circuit when the frame pulses are monitored in a synchronized state. CONSTITUTION:The synchronized state of frames is monitored by shifting to a synchronized state by setting a signal (i) indicating the synchronized/non- synchronized state of frames to '1' and comparing frame pulse retrieving pulses (h) with frame pulse comparing output signals (d) at regular intervals. At the time of monitoring, frame pulse comparing output signals (b) from an OR circuit 8 are held in '1' and the same signals as frame pulse comparing output signals (c) become the signals (d). The signals (c) are a compared output between the input signal (a) of a memory circuit 1 and the output signal (e) of a frame counter. The signal (e) is a signal which is inverted to '1' or '0' at every frame and is synchronous to frame signals. Therefore, the signals (c) become '1' when receiving pulse signals are properly received and '0' when the pulse signals are improperly received.

Thus, when one alarm signal repeats the generation/restoration intermittently and the other alarm signal is generated permanently and when the capacity of an alarm buffer is limited, the permanent alarm signal considered to be important can be recorded most preferentially.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To evaluate a flash point accurately and in real time by obtaining in real time the difference between a picture including a flash point and a picture including no flash point which are acquired via a heat picture sensor and detecting the flash point from the picture including only the flash point obtained from the difference between both pictures. CONSTITUTION:The video signal outputted from a heat picture sensor 13 is turned into a signal 16 which includes a horizontal synchronizing signal (HS) and a vertical synchronizing signal (VS). It is supposed that the present picture signal 16 includes a flash point and a picture 17 preceding by one frame includes no flash point. As a result, the output of a picture arithmetic part 3 is turned into a difference picture signal 18. A binary signal 19 is obtained by binarizing the signal 18 via a binarizing part. A counter 1-12 detects the address of a part where the binarized signal is set at 1 for the first time. A counter 2-15 detects the width of the part equal to 1. Thus the position of the flash point is accurately outputted.
