Abstract: An apparatus may receive, from a scheduling entity, sidelink grant information in a downlink control channel. After receiving the grant information in the downlink control channel, the apparatus may transmit a request-to-send (RTS) signal comprising an indication of a requested duration of time to reserve a sidelink channel for sidelink data. If the sidelink channel is available for the requested duration of time, the apparatus may receive a clear-to-send (CTS) signal configured to indicate an availability of the sidelink channel for the requested duration of time. Subsequently, the apparatus may communicate, with another apparatus different from the scheduling entity, the sidelink data using the sidelink channel during the requested duration of time. Afterwards, the apparatus may communicate acknowledgment information corresponding to the communication of the sidelink signal with the other apparatus. Various additional and alternative aspects are described herein.

The D2D resource message enables the apparatus to determine D2D resources allocated for D2D transmissions after the change in the uplink-downlink subframe configuration. The apparatus determines a subset of the D2D resources to be used for performing D2D transmissions based on the received D2D resource message.

Abstract: Various types of communication may switch from an unlicensed spectrum to a licensed spectrum. MiCr communication may be synchronized based on transmission time intervals (TTIs), which may improve the duration required to switch between bands. A MiCr system may transmit a signal to temporarily suspend other traffic in a licensed band so that MiCr communication may occur. For example, an apparatus may be configured to determine synchronization between a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT based on transmission time intervals associated with the first RAT and transmission time intervals associated with the second RAT, switch from the first RAT to the second RAT after the determined synchronization between the first RAT the second RAT. Further, the apparatus may transmit a silencing signal to suspend traffic in the second RAT.

A wireless communication device may establish a block of semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) resources in each of a plurality of transmission time intervals (TTIs) for transmission of priority traffic, and determine that a level of priority traffic to transmit during a first TTI of the plurality of TTIs is below a priority traffic threshold. The wireless communication device may transmit a per-TTI release signal to indicate that the block of SPS resources in the first TTI is released from being reserved for priority traffic.
