Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer, a ribbon cartridge and the use restriction method for ribbon cartridge capable of grasping the residual quantity of an ink ribbon correctly, and also capable of restricting a required sheets or more of prints of an ink ribbon and prints by an imitation ink ribbon. SOLUTION: A code ring 46 having data recording regions (MA, MB) formed on its outer periphery is mounted rotatably on a shaft 52 provided at the bottom surface of a recessed part 41f made on the exterior wall of a cartridge shell 41. At a place opposite to the data recording region of a space defined by the recessed part 41f, an optical sensor (A or B) and magnetic head (B or A) provided at the printer side are formed to move in and out thereof, and further, a motor chucking recessed part 53 is provided at the bottom surface (outside end surface) of the code ring 46. For example, the chucking projection 30a of a spindle motor set at the printer side is fitted in the recessed part 53 during the placement of a ribbon cartridge in order to rotation drive the code ring 46.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adapt to a rapid print with an excellent mold releasability and to suppress an increase in a printing density according to a friction by incorporating a reactant of a trimethylol propane adduct compound of a xylylenediisocyanate with both end OH group modified silicone compound as a main body. SOLUTION: The photographic sheet comprises a base 1 formed in a sheet- like state, and a dye image receiving layer 2 formed on the base 1. As the base 1, a sheet or the like such as a woodfree sheet, a coated sheet or the like, various type plastic sheet, a laminated sheet obtained by complexing them or the like is used. The layer 2 is formed by regulating a resin solution for forming the receiving layer and a mold release agent and coating the base 1 with a paint for forming a dye receiving image mixed so that the solution and the agent become a predetermined mixing ratio. In this case, the agent contains a reactant of a trimethylol propane adduct compound of a xylyenediisocyanate with both end OH group modified silicone compound as a main body.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To form image excellent in water resistance and light resistance on plain paper by a method wherein dye accepting layer forming means for forming dye accepting layer made of interlaminar compound for fixingly holding ink dye by intercalation on medium to be recorded is provided. CONSTITUTION:A serial type ink jet printer carries out printing by reciprocatingly scanning medium to be recorded 2 sending to the direction indicated with the arrow (y) widthwise with a print head 1 equipped with an ink nozzle 6. To the scanning direction of the printing head 1 of the printer, fixing liquid for forming dye accepting layer is delivered. At the position positionally corresponding one to one with the ink nozzle 6, a fixing liquid head 10 equipped with a fixing nozzle 9 is provided. By delivering fixing liquid drops having nearly the same shapes of the ink liquid drops from the fixing liquid head 10, dye accepting layer is formed. Further, at the downstream side in the paper-feeding direction of the heads 1 and 10, a heater 11 including a lamp 11a is provided as the drying means of the ink and fixing liquid delivered from the respective heads 1 and 10.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the above video photographic caper in which light fastness of an image formed by transfer of dye to its acceptor layer is excellent. CONSTITUTION:The subject video photographic paper is obtained as follows: in the video photographic paper 1 wherein dye is transferred to an acceptor layer 3 principally consisting of resin of photographic paper by heating the dye or ink containing the dye supported on a substratum to be fused or sublimated and an image is formed resin of the acceptor layer 3 is principally pullulan ester.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer member reducing an interaction between different types of coloring agents, in particular between a yellow coloring agent and a cyan coloring agent, and forming an image exhibiting excellent lightfastness and heat resistance, a thermal transfer member set, and also to provide a recording method by using the thermal transfer member and the thermal transfer member set. SOLUTION: A plurality of color material layers 3 are arranged on one surface 2a of a base material 2, wherein at least one color material layer 3 contains a dicyanomethine based color agent represented by structural formula 1 and at least one of the other color material layers 3 contains an indoaniline based coloring agent represented by structural formula 2. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely discriminate a genuine component even when only a content is replaced with another one in terms of a printer, for example an inkjet printer, a holder of a consumable, and a method of managing a consumable of the printer. SOLUTION: This printer 10 replaceably holds a holder holding a consumable to be used in the printing. The printer 10 comprises an image capturing means for capturing a two-dimensional random pattern which is provided on the holder and is dedicated thereto to output the image data, an image data processing means for generating verification data to be used for the verification of the random pattern by processing the image data, a memory 36 for accumulating the verification data, and a verification means for verifying the verification data accumulated in the memory of the holder loaded in the past with the verification data acquired by the image data processing means. Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize the formation of a dye image with high adhesion properties on the protective coat of a compact disk by a sublimation type heat transfer recording method. CONSTITUTION:After an adhesive layer 4 and a dye accepting layer 5 are formed on a protective coat 3 of a compact disk in the order named, a dye image is formed on the dye accepting layer 5 by a sublimation type heat transfer recording method. In this case, as the dye accepting layer 5, a layer consisting of an intercalation compound, which can fixingly hold a cationic dye through an ion-exchange reaction, and a resin binder is formed. The preferable dye of the ink ribbon used for the sublimation type heat transfer recording is a cationic dye.
