Abstract: The present invention is to provide an on-demand type ink-jet printer which is free from the risk such that the nozzle is stopped and which is also free from the maintenance. An ink-jet print head comprises a liquid chamber (2) into which a carrier liquid (7) is filled, ink-jet driving means (3), (4) disposed within the liquid chamber (2), a nozzle (14) communicated with the liquid chamber (2) and a mixing unit (14a) disposed in the vicinity of the nozzle (14) for mixing an ink (9) into the carrier liquid (7). The ink (9) is mixed into the carrier liquid (7) in the liquid chamber (2) by the mixing unit (14a), pressed by the ink-jet driving means (3), (4) and then ink-jetted from the nozzle (14). Since the carrier liquid (7) is constantly filled into the nozzle (14), the nozzle (14) can be prevented from being choked up.

Abstract: The overcharge preventing circuit for secondary batteries comprises overcharge detecting comparators (COMP2, COMP4), each having a hysteresis circuit (1), which are connected between positive and negative electrodes of series-connected secondary batteries (Abat, Bbat), and overdischarge detecting comparators (COMP1, COMP3), each having a hysteresis circuit (2), again connected beteween said electrodes. Transistors (T1, T2) and a resistor (R) are connected between the batteries for overflow of overcharge and balance of overdischarge. Upon detection of any over charge by the comparator COMP2 or COMP4, the charge current is interrupted by a transistor (T6). Simultaneously the overcharge overflow is discharged by the hysteresis circuit until the battery voltage is lowered to the hysteresis voltage. After the discharge, the transistor (T6) is turned on to resume recharging of the batteries. Upon detection of any overdischarge by the comparator COMP1 or COMP3, the discharge current is interrupted by a transistor (T5). Thus, the overcharge and the overdischarge can be balanced by the hysteresis said circuits (1,2, respectively).

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an overcharge and overdischarge preventive circuit having balanced capacity. CONSTITUTION:Overcharge detecting comparators COMP2, COMP4 having hysteresis circuits 1 and overdischarge detecting comparators COMP1, COMP3 having hysteresis circuits 2 are connected between positive and negative electrodes of secondary batteries Abat, Bbat connected in series. Transistors T1, T2 and a resistor R are connected between respective batteries in order to prevent overcharge overflow and to balance overdischarge. When the COMP2 or COMP4 detects overcharge, a transistor T6 interrupts charging current and the battery discharges the overcharge overflow down to the hysteresis voltage. Thereafter, the transistor T6 is turned ON to start recharging of both batteries. When the COMP1 or COMP3 detects overdischarge, a transistor T5 interrupts the discharge current. Consequently, overcharge and overdischarge can be balanced by means of the hysteresis circuits 1, 2.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method for an ink jet printer capable of allowing an ink which is pressed to be ejected from an ink ejection hole to surely come into contact with a solvent ejected from a solvent ejection hole at each of the ejection holes, thereby obtaining good density gradation by a unit of dot by mixture of the two liquids. SOLUTION: There is disclosed a driving method for an ink jet printer wherein an ink ejection hole 13 for ejecting an ink 4 and a solvent ejection hole 12 for ejecting a solvent 2 are disposed to be in close proximity with each other and the ink pressed to be ejected from the ink ejection hole 13 and the solvent ejected from the solvent ejection hole 12 are brought into contact with each other at the ejection holes 12, 13, then the ink 4 and the solvent 2 are ejected. After the completion of applying of a voltage for pressing to eject the ink 4, applying of a voltage for ejecting the solvent 2 is completed.
