Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly move a virtual sound source, while decreasing the number of filter coefficients. SOLUTION: A speaker array 10 is constituted by arraying a plurality of speakers SP1 to SPm. An audio signal which is convolved with a designated transfer function is supplied to the speakers SP1 to SPm respectively and wave-front composition of sounds outputted from the speakers SP1 to SPm is carried out. Through the wave front composition, a virtual sound source VSS is formed in an area ABC, including the speaker array 10. At this time, audio signal is so controlled that the virtual sound source VSS is disposed at an intersection of meshes, having unequal intervals which are dense nearby the speaker array 10 and coarse at a distance. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic reproducing apparatus capable of providing a sense of target sound image localization to a listener by using a standard head transmission characteristic. SOLUTION: In a microphone amplifier unit 40 in a sound collecting block, only the high frequency components of a left collected sound signal SL1 to be inputted from a dummy head microphone 13 and the high frequency components of a right collected sound signal SR1 are delayed by a delay circuit 42. In this case, since reproduced sounds of low-frequency components less influenced by individual difference are previously outputted from speakers 46, 47 of reproduced blocks, a listener U in a reproduced sound field space 45 can feel a sense of sound field localization by the reproduced sounds of low-frequency components which previously arrive. Thus, even if the standard head transmission characteristic is used, it is possible to cause the listener U in the reproduced sound field space 45 to feel the sense of target sound field localization. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viewer with an impression or an evaluation which is intended by a content provider. SOLUTION: Contents and expected evaluation values are recorded in an optical disk 1. The expected evaluation values are set by the content provider by expecting the impression and the evaluation of a viewer to the contents. A response value input part 61 measures a response of the viewer when the contents are reproduced. A recognition evaluation value calculation part 63 calculates the impression and the evaluation of the viewer to the contents as a recognition evaluation value. A control evaluation value calculation part 53 compares the recognition evaluation value with the expected evaluation value read out from the optical disk 1. A system controller 7 varies the brightness of an image and a sound level in subsequence scenes or shots to keep a difference between the expected evaluation value and the recognition evaluation value within an allowable range based on a comparison result and changes a reproduction position or a reproduction order of the optical disk 1 so as to change the subsequent story evolution. The expected evaluation value can be received through a communication network. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To organize contents of a broadcast program or the like in a transmission side so that a receiving side can securely conduct control of recording and reproducing of the contents. SOLUTION: A first video/audio data, which is a video/audio data of a program main part, is selected, and an identification code and validity expiration time information for the program main part are multiplexed with the first video/audio data. Prior to a prescribed time before (for example, 1 second before) the changeover time to a next CM(commercial), preliminary start information, identification code, and management information of the next CM are multiplexed with the first video/audio data. The management information consists of the information indicating release frequency or release date and time for a case in which a receiving side is prohibited to record or reproduce the program by skipping or fast-forwarding the CM part and the validity expiration time information for the CM. A second video/audio data, which is a video/ audio data of the CM, is selected, and the identification code and the management information are multiplexed with the second video/audio data at the changeover time of the video/audio data. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder that discriminates whether or not reserved programs can simultaneously be recorded when the reservation of a program going to be recorded on a hard disk results in causing temporal double-booking and that can set a program to be recorded with priority when the hard disk cannot record the programs at the same time. SOLUTION: A system controller 80 discriminates whether or not a time zone of a video recording reservation program made by an operation entry section 110 is overlapped with a time zone of other program having already been reserved and its video recording reservation setting information has been stored in a RAM 84, and also discriminates whether or not both the programs can simultaneously be recorded on the basis of the number of input systems of the programs and the system's performance of coding processing, multiplexing processing and recording processing when the time zone of both the programs is overlapped. Priority onto the video recording reservation setting is set when the simultaneous recoding is disabled.
