In this case, this finger sack is made of materials having almost the same refractive index as that of the optical member, and this finger sack is mounted on a finger F whose fingerprint should be collected.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the optical correction method of a fingerprint collation device, which can securely collate a fingerprint even if dispersion exists in an optical system. SOLUTION: The collation device 10 is provided with a prism 11 having a fingerprint extraction face 11a, an image pickup element 14 detecting light which enters into the prism from a light source 12 and reflected from the image pickup element and a fingerprint image data processing part 16 generating fingerprint image data for collation, comparing it with fingerprint image data for reference, which is previously registered and collating the fingerprint. Image data by the image pickup element 14 is compared with logic image data and differential data is obtained on a mark for image correction, which is formed on the fingerprint extraction face 11a. Then, fingerprint image data for collation is corrected based on difference data.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To miniaturize a device by making the length of an optical path to a projection lens from a light source short as for the overhead projector(OHP). CONSTITUTION: The OHP 1 is constituted of a main body part and an optical attachment 3 fitted so as to be freely attached and detached with respect to the main body part. Then, light emitted from the light source pare 12 in a projection head part 7 is reflected on an inclined mirror 13, transmitted through a filter plate 14 and condensed by a condenser lens 17. Thereafter, it is returned by being reflected on a pair of mirrors 18b and 18a and successively transmitted through a filter plate 19, a polarizing plate 22 and a liquid crystal display panel 23. Then, display information by the panel 23 is projected on a screen and the like by a projection mirror 16 after it is transmitted through a conversion lens 21 and a projection lens 15. Besides, the position and the inclination angle of the mirror 18b can be adjusted by an adjustment mechanism.
