Abstract:
In a recording/reproduction apparatus, when a rotational-speed-mode setting instruction is received from an I/F unit, a CPU reads out a control procedure from a storage device, controlling other components in accordance with the procedure. As a result, a node switch driving circuit controls field windings of a pulse motor to a switching sequence, driving the pulse motor to rotation at a predetermined rotational speed. Since the control is feedback control, the pulse motor rotates at the predetermined rotational speed specified by an instruction setting a rotational-speed mode with a high degree of reliability. Data can thus be recorded into and reproduced from a magnetic disk at a variable speed.
Abstract:
A cathode ray tube apparatus can accurately, easily and automatically correct influences exerted on both of a beam landing drift and an image distortion drift by terrestrial magnetism applied to a cathode ray tube (CRT). A correction current based on an output of a terrestrial magnetism sensor (45) is supplied to a Z-axis correction coil (41) and an X-X axis correction coil (42). A terrestrial magnetism component (BH cos theta ) of Z-axis direction is canceled by a correction magnetic flux generated by the Z-axis correction coil (41), and a terrestrial magnetism component (BH sin theta ) of X-axis direction is canceled by the X-X axis correction coil (42), whereby a beam landing drift and a image distortion drift are corrected automatically.
Abstract:
PATENT SO3160 AUTOMATIC PAGE-TURNING DEVICE An automatic page-turning device for turning pages of a book or the like as placed in an opened condition to expose a first page to be turned at one side of a spine and a second page in a stack of turned pages at the opposite side of the spine, comprises a carrier drum having a perforated peripheral wall and being bodily movable from a first position opposing an outer edge portion of the first page of the opened book to a second position in which the carrier drum opposes an outer edge portion of the second page, a suction device by which a vacuum is applied to the interior of the carrier in its first position for causing adherence of the first page thereto and the transport of the first page with the carrier drum toward the second position, with the first page being isolated from the effect of the vacuum at a position of the carrier drum intermediate its first and second positions for releasing the first page from the carrier drum and permitting the reception of such released first page by a page guiding member movable with the carrier drum and carrying the released first page at least until the carrier drum passes the spine of the book or the like, and a reverting roller in parallel, side-by-side relationship with the carrier drum and being movable therewith for withdrawing the first page from the page guiding member and stacking the same against the second page during final movement of the carrier drum to its second position. The automatic page-turning device is desirably SO3160 applied to an optical reader system in which an optical reading element, such as, a CCD line sensor, is movable with the carrier drum in the course of the movement of the latter between its first and second positions for reading information on the exposed pages.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the sufficient recording capacity and reliability of the recording and reproducing operations, to reduce the production cost and to attain the easy replacement of disk-like recording media. SOLUTION: The disk drive is provided with a mechanism block 6 having a magnetic disk 5, a spindle motor 24 which supports fixedly the disk 5 to revolve it, a magnetic head 12 which records and reproduces the information in and from the disk 5 and having a head moving mechanism 11 which moves the head 12 over the recording area of the disk 5. The disk drive is, moreover, provided with a circuit block 7 having a circuit board 33 to perform the drive control and signal processing of the block 6 and having a circuit block 7 which has a power connector 32 to which the electric power is supplied and with a connecting terminal part 27 and a connector part 31 which are provided in both blocks 6 and 7 respectively to electrically connect these blocks together. The blocks 6 and 7 can be attached to and removed from each other through the parts 27 and 31.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk storage device high in rigidity and impact resistance and also thin in thickness. SOLUTION: This hard disk device 50 has a constitution similar to that of a conventional device except those of an electric circuit board 52 and a casing 54. The electric circuit board has an opening 56 in a center for putting an SPM 18 through, a board surface 52a positioned in an area directly below a hard disk 20, and a board surface 52b set lower by one step from the board surface 52a because of a bent step 58, and is fixed onto a casing. An IC 34 and an electric part item 35 disposed in an area directly below a disk are all mounted on the board surface of the casing side, and on the other hand, an IC 36 disposed outside the area directly below the disk is arranged in the board surface 52b. The bottom part of the casing is made of plastic thicker than the height dimension than the IC 36 or the like, an opening 28 for exposing the lower surface of the SPM is provided in the center, and a recessed housing room 58 for housing the IC 34 or the like is provided in the bottom part.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the internal mechanism of a hard disc device and record/ reproduce proper information signals in/from a disc-type recording medium. SOLUTION: A hard disc device 1 has a disc-type recording medium 6, a spindle motor 5 which turns the disc-type recording medium 6, heads 21 and 21 by which information signals are recorded/reproduced in/from the disc-type recording medium 6 and an actuator 7 to which the heads are attached and which is transferred to position the heads at arbitrary positions of recording tracks of the disc-type recording medium. The spindle motor, the disc-type recording medium and the actuator are placed in an outer housing 2 composed of a housing 3 and a cover 4 covering the housing 4. The axial direction of the spindle motor is perpendicular to the surface direction of the cover and the spindle motor has a non-rotating part 10 fixed to the inside of the outer housing and a rotating part 12 which is rotatably supported by the non-rotating part 10. A spacing between the cover and the non-rotating part is smaller than a spacing between the cover and the rotating part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
