    Abstract: PURPOSE:To agitate and mix powder, even if it has an especially large adsorptivity among powders, and distribute the powder in the gas evenly by agitating the fine powder from both vertical and horizontal directions with a rotary vane rotating in both the normal and reverse directions and the gas passed through a filter to mix with the high pressure gas. CONSTITUTION:A rotary vane 12 to be driven by an ultrasonic motor 11 which can rotated in both the normal and reverse directions and a filter 68 for filtering and passing the gas are provided in a mixing chamber 90. The powder 1 and the gas are agitated for mixture by the rotary vane 12 rotating in both the normal and reverse directions and the gas passed through a filter 68. The powder 1 can be thereby distributed evenly in the gas.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To realize the sine wave driving with little loss and current ripple by a method wherein a power is supplied to the primary side of a transformer through an inductance element and an inductance element whose inductance value cancels the equivalent parallel capacitance of the piezoelectric device of an ultrasonic motor is connected in parallel to the piezoelectric device. CONSTITUTION:The inductance value Lc of a choking coil (Lc) which is connected to the center tap of the primary side of a step-up transformer 3 is selected to be sufficiently larger than the inductance value L1 to realize a constant current operation on the primary side. That is, if Lc>>L1 is satisfied, the AC component IAC of a current Ic supplied from a power supply Vc becomes infinitely close to zero and only the DC component IDC is supplied, so that a flyback converting operation is realized in a driving circuit 2. The parallel capacitance Ca of the equivalent circuit of an ultrasonic motor 1 is cancelled by parallel resonance with the inductance Lt of an inductance element (Lt) and the transient response (voltage resonance) of an LCR series resonance circuit is realized in the equivalent circuit and a current is supplied by an electromagnetic energy stored in the step-up transformer 3 in accordance with the voltage resonance, so that a sine wave driving voltage Vd can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To shorten settling time of a servo at the time of starting a motor by increasing the gain of input stage of an integrator for forming a servo system, rapidly discharging an initial charge voltage of the integrator, and preventing delay of controlling a deceleration by the integrator. CONSTITUTION:A speed discriminator 8 varies a pulse width in response to a difference of a rotating speed until the rotating speed of a motor 1 reaches a predetermined speed. An integrator 5 integrates the periods of acceleration pulse signal output from a charge pump 4 as a continuous control signal. The signal is amplified by a motor driver 7, output to the motor 1, and its speed is controlled in an accelerating direction. The discriminator 8 has a speed detecting function, and obtains a low level output when a motor speed falls within a predetermined speed. This signal is a READY signal, the logic product of a deceleration pulse signal and the READY signal is taken by an AND gate 9a, thereby controlling a switch element SW thereby to increase a discharge amount (gain) via a resistor Rd. As a result, the settling time of a servo is shortened.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve torque production characteristic by employing such structure as a mover contacts with negative half period portion of traveling wave produced on the surface of a vibration body. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric element 11 comprises two sheets of circular piezoelectric ceramics and produces traveling wave in a stator 12. A circular protrusion 18 having radial slits with predetermined interval is formed on the under face at the outer circumferential section of a resilient body 10 so that the under face of the protrusion 18 makes contact with the upper face of a friction member 8. When a rotor 9 is pressurized with predetermined pressure through a rotor pressurizing mechanism 16, the rotor 9 contacts with negative half period portion of traveling wave produced on the surface of the stator 12. When 90 deg. phase shifted voltages are applied onto two sheets of piezoelectric ceramics, two standing waves having shifted position and phase are produced and the traveling wave is synthesized by these two standing waves thus rotating the rotor 9 in the advancing direction of the traveling wave.
