Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy and reliability of a measured value by recording plural frame each in a prescribed current, obtaining the maximum output value by regenerating each frame, and also, averaging the maximum output values of each frame, executing this operation, while changing a recording current, and measuring a regenerative characteristic. CONSTITUTION:In a prescribed current value, plural frames each are recorded, the maximum output values (a), (b), (c), (d) and (e) are obtained by regenerating each frame 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, and also, the maximum values (a)-(e) of each frame 1-5 are averaged. Subsequently, a reproducing characteristic is measured by executing this operation, while changing a recording current. In such a case, by constituting a measuring system by using a computer, a data processing can be executed easily and exactly by the computer, and the regenerative characteristic can be measured quickly.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a torque with a simple constitution by transmitting a driving force by a rotor changing at its relative position by the torque, detecting a change in a resonance frequency responsive to the change of the relative position without contact, and transmitting a modulation signal without contact. SOLUTION: An oscillator 61 oscillates a sine wave signal according to a resonance frequency of a resonator and outputs a signal so as to change an oscillation signal in response to a pedal power. In a motor driven bicycle 31, this sine wave signal is amplified by an output circuit 63, and then transmitted to a frame side through coupling elements 54A, 54B without contact. Then, an output signal of the element 54B is frequency divided by a frequency divider 66, then band-pass limited by a high-pass filter 67, and detected. This detected result is integrated by a low-pass filter 68, and a torque detection signal changed at its DC level in response to a frequency of the sine wave signal, i.e., the pedal power is detected. The torque can be detected without contact by detecting the resonance frequency changing according to the pedal power.

A short-circuit brake is applied when the sample output, i.e., a PWM inverted Short/Rev signal, has Low level otherwise a reverse current brake is applied.

Current values of upper and lower layer transistors are detected as the current fed to the coils 1U, 1V, 1W of respective phases and employed in the formation of a comparison output Verr from a comparator 4. Since a through current causes trouble in the accurate drive control of the three-phase motor 1, a timing controller turns the upper and lower layer transistors OFF simultaneously and produces an output open signal for preventing the through current.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To get accurate timing signal by feeding back a signal, which is made based on the voltage at the middle between the outputs of first and second integrating circuits, to the integrating circuit, in a driving circuit which applies a current based on the timing signal whose phase is delayed by a specified angle from the zero cross point of the counter electromotive voltage of a driving coil. CONSTITUTION:A feedback circuit 103 gets the voltage VCENT at the middle between the output signals K'1 and K'2 of integrating circuits 6 and 7, and feeds back the differential voltage with the reference voltage to amplifiers 101 and 102 as feedback voltage VB so as to give its noninverted signal VSY and inverted signal VSO. On the other hand, the polarities of the integrating circuits 6 and 7 are changed over by changing switch circuits S3 and S4 by the signal j from a buffer 8 and the signal j' from an inverter 9 of a signal g, which are inverted at each zero cross point of the counter electromotive voltage of each phase of a driving coil, and also the gain is controlled. Hereby, a timing signal, whose phase is delayed a specified angle accurately from the zero cross point of the counter electromotive force, can be gotten.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out stable and efficient power-assisted driving by properly synchronizing two wheels of a bicycle in a constitution where one wheel is driven by manpower and the other wheel is driven by a motor.
SOLUTION: The rear wheel 6 is driven by man-powered pedal stepping and the front wheel 9 is driven by an assist motor 10. The front wheel 9 and the rear wheel 6 are provided with rotation detecting sensors 18A and 19A, respectively, and a torque limiter 21 is provided for controlling assist torque by the assist motor 10. Rotation detections of the front wheel 9 and the rear wheel 6 are carried out, the phase difference between the two wheels is detected, and power-assisted side torque is adjusted for synchronizing rotation states of the front wheel 9 and the rear wheel 6. The suitable driving state of the front wheel 9 side is obtained by securing a comfortable running state at the front wheel 9 side.
