    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a camera having two optical systems such as a single-lens reflex type having one eyepiece in common and a range finder type. SOLUTION: The camera in which a mirror is assembled, whose front side a lens barrel is attached to, and also which has a mirror housing part provided with an exposure surface on a back side has a single-lens reflex type finder optical path forming a visible image which can be observed by an eyepiece having an optical axis which does not share a plane with the optical axis of a condenser lens through the condenser lens, a prismatic prism and a relay lens from an image reflected from the mirror and formed on a focusing glass at a position conjugate to the exposure surface, and a range finder type finder optical path forming the visible image which can be observed by the eyepiece from a double image composed of a real image formed by a prism having a roof surface and a convex lens and a virtual image formed by a concave lens.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform highly accurate temperature adjustment by using a steam as a heat medium, and enabling a specified temperature to be attained quickly. CONSTITUTION:The test room has the double structure of an inner tank and an outer tank. The gap between the inner tank and the outer tank forms a hermetically sealed space. A space is provided between the upper surface of a small amount of water 11 which is put in the space at the bottom and the lower surface of the wall of the inner tank at the bottom. One circuit is composed of a heater 10 in the water, a temperature adjusting sensor 13, and a temperature adjuster 13'. The other circuit is composed of the other heater 10, a temperature adjusting sensor 14 in the test room, and the temperature adjuster 14'. The steam generated when the water is heated at a temperature less than 100 deg.C is condensed on the entire surface of the inner tank wall surrounding the test room 5, and the condensed water quickly flows down or drips. The temperature of a small amount of the water in the bottom space and the test room is adjusted by the two-circuit system.

    Abstract: Improved carbon electrodes for use in a carbon arc lamp are disclosed. The improved electrodes, which are utilized in pairs, have a diameter ratio of the upper to lower electrodes within the range of 1.4 - 1.6 : 1. The electrodes consist of a core section, a carbonaceous portion surrounding the core section and a layer of material covering the carbonaceous portion. The ratio of the sectional area of the carbonaceous portion to that of the core portion in the upper carbon electrode should be within the range of 9 - 14 : 1 with the ratio in the lower carbon electrodes being within the range of 5 - 9 : 1. Electrodes produced according to the subject invention provide spectroscopically stabilized light at a discharge voltage and current of 50 volts and 60 amps., and have improved long life performance.
