Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present disclosure may comprise: a first housing; a second housing of which the position relative to the first housing changes on the basis of a sliding movement of the first housing; a flexible display including a first area and a second area, which extends from the first area and can be bent or rolled; a support structure which is coupled to the flexible display so as to support at least a part of the flexible display, and which includes a plurality of bars; and a guide rail for guiding the movement of the plurality of bars on the basis of the sliding movement of the first housing. Each of the plurality of bars comprises a frame and a header formed on an end portion of the frame, wherein, when the second area of the flexible display is bent or rolled, the headers of at least two adjacent bars can be arranged to at least partially overlap with each other. Each of the headers can comprise at least one pole of which at least a portion is accommodated in the guide rail.

Abstract: An electronic device according to an embodiment may comprise: a display module including a flexible display; a driving unit for changing a size of a display screen where the flexible display is exposed to the outside of the electronic device; and a power management module for supplying power to the electronic device. The electronic device may determine whether a condition for restricted booting for controlling the driving unit is satisfied in case that power is applied to the electronic device, operate in a restricted booting state in which an operation system is not booted in case that the condition for restricted booting is satisfied, and adjust the size of the display screen of the flexible display by controlling the driving unit through the power management module in the restricted booting state. Various other embodiments may also be possible.
