    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of wrinkle, slack of a film in a depositing step by allowing output characteristics and traveling durability to be compatible. SOLUTION: In the biaxially oriented laminated film of at least two or more layers each containing polyethylene-2, 6-naphthalate as main component, a ratio Rz/Ra of surface roughness Ra to Rz of at least one surface is 6 to 10, and attenuation time (T) of charge in the case of forcibly charging the surface of the film at 20 and 65%R.H. is 100 to 300 sec, and further at least M/P of matrix polymer for constituting a laminated part of surface side is 1.0 to 3.0.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve durability by specifying the steam permeability, oxygen permeability, Young's module in the horizontal direction and thickness in a film consisting of polyethylene-2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylate. CONSTITUTION: The film consisting of polyethylene-2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylate is used. And, the steam permeability, the oxygen permeability and the Young's module in the horizontal direction are controlled to respectively .24hr, cm /cm .sec.cmHg and >=700kg/mm when the film thickness is 10μm. If the steam permeability and the oxygen permeability are larger than the range, the preservable durability of a magnetic layer under a high temp. high humidity condition is deteriorated. Then, by controlling the steam permeability and the oxygen permeability to the range and increasing the Young's module in the horizontal direction, the film excellent in durability and out-put characteristic is obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prepere a magnetic tape having excellent output characteristics by providing a magnetic layer on one side and a back coat layer on the other side and specifying the surface roughness on the magnetic surface and the back coat surface as well as the strength of the tape in the longitudinal and lateral directions. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic tape is made of a biaxially oriented polymer film principally comprising polyethylene-2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylate having a magnetic layer and a back coat layer, respectively, on the opposite sides thereof.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester film having an ideal wear resistance and an improved winding stability by specifying the number of projections on a surface and further specifying the ratio of said number to the number of particles contained in a surface layer forming the surface. CONSTITUTION:In a biaxially oriented film mainly composed of a polyester A, the number of projections on a surface is 5X10 /mm or more, and a projection number/a particle number (NR), which is a ratio of the number of projections to the number of particles contained in a surface layer forming the surface, ranges from 2 to below 5.
