    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain both a high-density fabric excellent in flexibility in spite of its high density and its water repellent processed high-density fabric. CONSTITUTION: This high-density fabric is a fabric comprising a fiber bundle containing single filament of plural components and satisfies the following conditions (a) to (g) at the same time: (a) 55-77% fiber filling ratio observed from the fiber bundle in a fabric cross section; (b) 80-140 single filaments/50μm×50μm number of the single filaments observed from the fiber bundle in the fabric cross section; (c) (25/75) to (75/25) ratio (fiber cross-sectional area ratio) of different two-component single filaments and >=30% difference in values measured from 50μm×50μm and 25μm×25μm areas, (d) 0.35-0.62/cm apparent density of the fabric, (e) 130-220 warp yarns/inch and 120-190 weft yarns/inch of the weaving density in the fabric, (f) 40-130 denier yarn size of warp and weft yarns and (g) 0.01-0.3 denier single filament size of the yarns.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To form an image having excellent steadiness and clearness by making a ribbon cassette, which is to be used for a tape printer, of a thermal transfer ribbon, a temporary transfer ribbon for temporarily transferring the image from the thermal transfer ribbon, and a cloth ribbon for transferring the image from the ribbon. CONSTITUTION:A cloth-containing ribbon cassette 1 for thermal transfer is made of a set of a cloth ribbon 2, a thermal transfer ribbon 3 and a temporary transfer ribbon 4. In printing images, the ribbon cassette 1 is set in a printer, a temporary image is transferred to the temporary transfer ribbon 4 from the thermal transfer ribbon 3 by a print head 5 built in the printer, and the cloth ribbon 2 is layered thereon so as to obtain a laminated label 7. In the laminated label 7, an image 12 is formed by a dye-containing ink on a temporary transfer sheet 11, and a cloth 13 is layered thereon. The laminated label 7 is pressed with heat by an iron at 180-200 deg.C. Thereafter, the temporary transfer ribbon 4 is treated to be peeled off, thereby obtaining a cloth label.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To form an image having excellent fastness, vividness and so forth by constituting a ribbon cassette of a cloth ribbon roll, an excessive dye elimination ribbon roll and a thermal transfer ribbon roll with a dye impregnated thermal transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:The transfer cloth insertion ribbon cassette is composed at least of a cloth ribbon roll, excessive dye elimination ribbon roll, and thermal transfer ribbon roll having a thermal transfer layer consisting of dye-containing ink. Concretely, it has an image 12 formed by dye-containing in the cloth 13 and further an excessive dye elimination sheet 11 laminated thereon. By heating the lamination body label and separating the excessive dye elimination sheet 11, there is obtained a cloth label dyed with an image 12. Since the cloth label obtained has a dye image, it has a very fine fastness such as a friction resistance, washing resistance and the like. The provision of a hot melt adhesive layer to the rear surface of the cloth label allows dyeing and simultaneously adhering to clothing or the like.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a method of manufacturing a laminate, capable of being employed for a label and the like bonded to clothes and the like, prominent in resistance to washing and capable of providing a picture simply, and an information fabric employing the laminate. CONSTITUTION:In a laminate, in which a sheet type dye-absorbing body 1 is laminated on a fabric 3, on which a picture 2 is formed temporarily by ink consisting of the principal constituent of dye, so that at least the whole of picture forming part is covered, the sheet type dye-absorbing body 1 is characterized in a fact that it is laminated by an adhesive agent capable of being peeled from the fabric 3 after applying heat thereon at least while the manufacturing method of the information fabric is characterized in a fact that the laminate is treated by heat and the picture is dyed, then, the sheet type dye-absorbing body is peeled from the fabric off.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a ultrahigh air-containing and highly self-stretchable string- form object having a stable structure after self-stretching by a method wherein a laminate is composed of a low-temperature shrinking sheet layer, a high- temperature shrinking sheet layer, and two types of adhesive layers. CONSTITUTION:A low-temperature shrinking sheet 1 and a high-temperature shrinking sheet 2 are bonded by adhesive layers 3 and 4 to be laminated, thereby being formed into a string-form object. As the low-temperature shrinking sheet 1, paper of 100mum thickness is used. As the high-temperature shrinking sheet 2, a vinyl chloride shrink film (40mum thick and having a shrinkage factor of 50% laterally and 0% vertically) is used. As the adhesive layers 3, 4, an epoxy adhesive is separately used. The paper and the vinyl chloride shrink film is 10mm long and 20mm wide. The three-layer paper/shrink film/paper laminate bonded through the adhesive layers of 2mm width at both ends is laminated by 16 layers through the adhesive layers of 5mm width at the center.

The high molecular gel 1 is enclosed with a black plastic 2, and this plastic 2 is clamped with transparent conductive films 3 and 3' at the upper and lower sides. Voltage is applied across the films 3 and 3', thereby changing the transparency of the gel 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To modify the surface of a base by treating it with a low-temperature plasma at high speed in high efficiency, by setting an electrode B and an electrode A supporting the base and connected to electrode B in such a manner that these electrodes are opponent to each other, applying a high-frequency voltage between a counter electrode and each of electrodes A and B and treating the base with the formed discharge. CONSTITUTION:An electrode A supporting a base 6 to be treated and an electrode B opponent to electrode A are set in a vacuum vessel which can keep its inside pressure at a specified pressure, and the electrode A is connected to the electrode B through a wire 15 and is connected to a high-voltage output terminal 11 through a matching circuit 7'. A counter electrode C is provided in the space between the opponent electrodes A and B and is connected through the matching circuit 7 to a high-voltage output terminal 10 which forms a pair with the high-voltage output terminal 11. A high-frequency voltage is applied between each of said electrodes A and B and the electrode C, and the base 6 is treated with the formed discharge. The discharge can be performed efficiently, the base can be treated at high speed with a low-temperature plasma, and its surface can be modified at high speed.
