Abstract:
PURPOSE:The titled fiber having high-degree antistatic properties and scarcely fibrillating, and obtained by arranging (A) a mixture of a polyester with a specific amount of a block polyether amide composition and (B) a polyester in a specific constitution. CONSTITUTION:A block polyether amide composition, preferably a mixture of a copolymer of a polyalkylene ether and a polyamide e.g. nylon 6, with 3-7wt% each an organic electrolyte and a phenolic antioxidant, in an amount to give 0.05-5wt% the polyalkylene ether, preferably polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of 3,000-8,000, in the total fiber is mixed with a polyester. The resultant mixture (A) as a core component is subjected to composite spinning concentrically with (B) a polyester as a sheath component at a ratio between the core component and the total fiber of 5-50wt% to give the aimed composite fiber having an elongation at break of about 50-200%.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:The titled conjugate fiber that is produced by arranging an electrically high conductive synthetic polymer composition around the peripheries of the depressed parts in the fiber with concave-shaped cross section, thus showing good fiber-forming property, practically adequate antistatic property and reduced di scoloration. CONSTITUTION:When (A) a thermoplastic synthetic polymer such as polyester or polyamide and (B) another electrically high conductive polymer composition containing preferably 10-50wt% of dispersed electrically conductive carbon black are made into concave-shaped conjugate fibers in cross section in which both of the components are bonded to each other continuously in the fiber direction, the component B is arranged around the peripheries of the depressed parts in the fiber cross section. The area of the component B in the cross section of the conjugate fiber is made less than 20%. EFFECT:The reduction in antistatic performance caused by the outerlayer of the nonconductive component and the release of black component during the fabrication are prevented.

PURPOSE:The titled fiber having improved fiber-making properties, heat and light resistance, obtained by combining a polyester as a sheath part with a mixture of a polyester and a specific block polyether-amide composition as a core part. CONSTITUTION:(A) A polyester, e.g. polyethylene terephthalate, as a sheat part is combined with (B) a mixture of (a) a block polyether-amide composition and (b) a polyester as a core part into a composite fiber having a fineness per fiber of 1.5 de or less. The component (a) is a mixture of a block copolymer of a polyamide, e.g. nylon 6, with a polyether, preferably a polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of 3,000-8,000, an organic electrolyte, e.g. sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate, and a phenolic antioxidant. The mixing ratio of (a) to (b) is preferably set to give 0.05-5wt% of the polyether based on the total fiber.

PURPOSE:Two kinds of yarns with fine and large filament deniers are spun through separate spinnerets respectively and the finishing oil applicator for the former is set more ahead that for the latter, then both of yarns are combined to equalify the strain of both yarns and prevent the formation of yarn waviness. CONSTITUTION:Yarn of fine filment denier 2 is extruded from spinneret 1 and treated with finishing oil by oil applicator 4 at a position nearer to the spinneret, that is, on the upper stair 8 and collected simultaneously. The collected yarn is sent through first godet roller 5 to godet roller 5'. In the meantime, another yarn of larger filament denier 2' from spinneret 1' is treated with finishing oil by another applicator 4' at another position more downward than that of the applicator for the yarn 2, that is, on the lower stair. Then, both of the yarns are combined on the godet roller 5' and wound up around drum 7.

PURPOSE:Title fiber that is produced by conjugate spinning using polyester as the outermost layer and core part and polyamide as the interlayer and dissolving the surface layer with aqueous alkali, thus showing improved touch and dyeing properties. CONSTITUTION:The objective conjugate fiber consists of (A) the outermost layer and (B) the core part made of the same or different fiber-forming polyester, preferably polyethylene or polytetramethylene terephthalate containing 1-7mol% of sodium 3,5-dicarboxybenzenesulfonate or its derivative, and (C) the intermediate layer fiber-forming polyamide such as nylong 6, wherein the contents of each component are 10-30wt% of A, 10-30wt% of B and 40-80wt% of C.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To spin two or more types of filaments having different finenesses per filament through the same spinnert under the same strain, by taking off the filaments with the first godet roll having different diameters. CONSTITUTION:Two or more filaments 2 and 3 having different finenesses per filament are spun through the same spinneret 1 simultaneously and taken off. The filament group 2 having a small fineness per filament is separated from the group 3 having a coarser fineness per filament. The group 2 is passed through the large- diameter part of the first stepped godet roll 7; the group 3, the small-diameter part. The groups 2 and 3 are doubled, and taken up to give a filament yarn under the same strain. The small diameter part for the so much tension due to the slow solidification of the group 3 provides the uniform strain.

PURPOSE:To obtain a medium ultra-fine filament yarn of good quality stably according to the ordinary melt spinning method, by spinning a sunthetic linear thermoplastic polymer under specific conditions of a spinneret, output, and spinning tension. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic linear thermoplastic polymer, referably polyethylene terephthalate having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.45-0.75, is melt spun through a spinneret with orifices satisfying the formulas 1-5 at an output satisfying formulas 6 and 7 under a tension satisfying formula 8 and winding conditions satisfying formula 9 to give a medium ultra-fine filament yarn having a fineness per filament of 0.3- 1.0 denier in great demand industrially stably without requiring expensive composite spinning devices.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:In the duct of yarn path following the yarn cooler, are fitted in order a yarn scooping guide of specific structure, a finishing oil applicator and yarn pressing guids from top to bottom, whereby yarn fluctuation is prevented, the threading operability is stabilized and the finishing oil is stably applied. CONSTITUTION:The yarn extruded out of spinneret 1 falls down between yarn scooping guide 5 that is beforehand turned down to horizontality around the pin 10 and yarn pressing guide 7. At the same time, the yarn 11 is sucked with gun 12, then collected and guided toward oil applicator 6 by yarn scooping guide 5. At this state, the yarn pressing guide 7 is turned around pin 13 to press running yarn 11, whereby the yarn 11 is led to the oil applicator 6 where oil is applied. Then, the yarn scooping guide 5 is turned back to get apart from the yarn and yarn winding starts. EFFECT:The wear of guids and fluffing can be reduced.
