    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for transmitting information between individual sections of a train. The aim of the invention is to solve the technical problem of transmitting large quantities of data, without having to interfere with the existing cabling in the train. The problem is solved by the following method: the information to be transmitted is prepared in the principal section of the train (4), said information is emitted in the form of radio signals and the radio signals are received and edited in at least one other section (6a, 6b, 6c) of the train. The problem is also solved by a device comprising a central computer (8) for preparing the information to be transmitted, which is located in the principal section of the train (4), a principal transmitter (10) that is connected to a computer (8), at least one receiver (12) that is located in at least one other section (6) of the train and at least one evaluation element (14, 18), connected to the receiver (12), for evaluating the received information.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a mobile multimedia device (2), particularly a mobile radio terminal, a music playback device, an MP3 player or a video playing device, for receiving multimedia contents. The inventive device comprises a first transmitting-receiving device (4) for communicating in a mobile radio network, particularly in a cellular mobile radio network, and comprises a second transmitting-receiving device (6) for receiving radio broadcast frequencies. The aim of the invention is to achieve a reliable and economical transmission of multimedia contents. To this end, the multimedia device comprises first storage means (8) for storing a receive authorization that is received by the first transmitting-receiving device, and the multimedia device comprises decryption means (10) for decrypting at least one multimedia content that is transmitted in an encrypted manner and received by the second transmitting-receiving device (6). The invention additionally relates to a method for transmitting multimedia contents to mobile multimedia devices.
