Abstract:
The invention relates to a mobile multimedia device (2), particularly a mobile radio terminal, a music playback device, an MP3 player or a video playing device, for receiving multimedia contents. The inventive device comprises a first transmitting-receiving device (4) for communicating in a mobile radio network, particularly in a cellular mobile radio network, and comprises a second transmitting-receiving device (6) for receiving radio broadcast frequencies. The aim of the invention is to achieve a reliable and economical transmission of multimedia contents. To this end, the multimedia device comprises first storage means (8) for storing a receive authorization that is received by the first transmitting-receiving device, and the multimedia device comprises decryption means (10) for decrypting at least one multimedia content that is transmitted in an encrypted manner and received by the second transmitting-receiving device (6). The invention additionally relates to a method for transmitting multimedia contents to mobile multimedia devices.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and to a device for presenting information, preferably in a moving vehicle. According to said method and device, master information is stored on a computer and is subsequently presented on at least one presentation device. The technical problem to be solved is to provide an inexpensive system with which information can be presented in high quality and can be updated any time. To this end, supplementary information is transmitted to the computer using a transmitter and a receiver linked with said computer. The information is evaluated by the computer and the information presented by the at least one presentation device is modified in accordance with the supplementary information. The supplementary information is transmitted via an internet connection established by means of a mobile communication device.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for updating a mobile terminal which is used in a vehicle, preferably in a vehicle of the public transport system, for the purpose of timetable information, fare determination and ticketing. The aim of the invention is to improve the updating of such a terminal. To this end, data are transmitted by a central computer (server) to a computer (client) located in the vehicle in a location-independent manner. In order to update the data stored in the terminal, the terminal is linked with the client and updated data are transmitted from the client to the terminal. The invention also relates to a system for updating of a mobile terminal.
Abstract:
According to the method a delivery route is determined based on delivery information such as the delivery condition of goods that are to be delivered or picked up by a delivery vehicle stored in a central computer. The delivery information is entered electronically and transferred to the central computer, with the route plan dynamically determined based on the delivery information. The invention also relates to a corresponding system and mobile delivery terminal.
Abstract:
The method involves preparing the information in the static computer (6), radiating the information in a defined area around the stopping point using an electromagnetic signal coded by a transmitter (10), receiving (20) the signal on the vehicle (4) while in the transmission area, decoding the information from the electromagnetic signal and storing it on the on-board computer (8) for later processing. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for transmitting information from a stationary computer to a computer in a vehicle.
Abstract:
The arrangement has a receiver (2) of information, an interface device (3) for converting the received information and a transmitter (4) for sending the converted information. The interface device enables conversion of the received information into a digital multimedia broadcast data stream and the transmitter enables transmission of the converted information in a digital multimedia broadcast data network. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: a method of converting information and software for converting information.
Abstract:
The display device (2) has a curved surface, e.g. a cylindrical surface, at least part of which is provided by an image screen (4), on which at least 2 different image informations are represented, using separate image screen sections (4a-4d). Also included are Independent claims for the following: (a) a system for display of image information on a display device; (b) a method for displaying image information
Abstract:
Master information is stored in the form of files on a computer, and presented on a presentation device in the form of a program. For sub-sequence of the program, the master information is stored in a separate file. An instruction file with executable instructions is stored on the computer. The instructions are sequentially executed to present the master information stored in the files on the presentation device. The master information may be video files, image files, text files and/or sound files.
