Abstract: PURPOSE:To continuously form an anticorrosive resin convering layer on the surface of steel sheet pile by closely winding a molten resin sheet extruded from a T-die around the steel sheet pile in a spiral form. CONSTITUTION:While a steel sheet pile 2 is turned at its longitudinal rotation axis and advanced along its longitudinal direction, a resin sheet 3 extruded from a T-die is wound in hot state around the steel sheet pile 2 to form a covering layer 4 on all surface of the pile 2. Under the condition, the rotation and advancement of the pile 2 are temporarily stopped, and a pressure part 5 is pressed into the resin sheet 3 in such a way as to closely bond the resin covering layer 4 to the pile 2. The presser part 5 is retracted, and while turning and advancing the pile 2, these processes are repeated to produce a resin-covered steel sheet pile.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the durability of a steel sheet pile by sticking a coating sheet composed of a thermally adhesive binder layer and a cross-linking plastic layer closely on the surface of a preheated steel sheet pile. CONSTITUTION:The coating sheet with a plastic layer is supplied on the surface of a steel sheet pile, pressure is applied to the surface of the coating sheet to be deformed in the form of U-section and the coating sheet deformed in the U-form is pushed against the surface of the heated steel sheet pile. The steel sheet pile 1 has a body with a U-form section and a joint part 14 bent outward on the flange parts 13 of both sides. The coating sheet 4 preferably consists, for examle, of an adhesive layer with adhesive temperatures 50-200 deg.C and a plastic layer with a melting point exceeding that of the binder. The outermost layer of the steel sheet pile with such constitution has heat resistance, shock resistance, weather resistance, durability and can resist against corrosion for a long period.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the durability and corrosion resistance of steel sheet piles by a method in which a covering sheet consisting of an adhesive layer having a specific bonding temperature range and a bridged plastic layer is pressed on the surface of a steel sheet pile heated by a pressing force for bonding. CONSTITUTION:A steel sheet pile 2 is preheated, and a 0.7-3.0mm.-thick covering sheet 5 consisting of a brided plastic layer 6 and an adhesive layer 7 having a specific bonding temperature range of about 50-200 deg.C is set by turning its adhesive layer 7 on the surface of the pile 2 and pressed along the surface of the pile 2 by an external pressing force for bonding. The surface of the steel sheet pile can thus be protected from being directly exposed to water, air, and sunshine and therefore, the high corrosion resistance of the steel sheet pile can be kept for a long period of time.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate separation and recombination of resin in the direction of circumference and thereby improve the physical properties thereof by dispensing with a discharging plate and machining the upper surface of a rotary die, in manufacturing the multilayer synthetic resin body such as a multilayer film or sheet. CONSTITUTION:Inside a vertical central fixed shaft 1 are provided several resin supplying channels 2, 3 and 3a which are extended in the direction of the axial line of the shaft while not penetrating therethrough, and the upper end parts of the resin supplying channels 2, 3 and 3a are opened toward the outer-peripheral surface 4 of the central fixed shaft 1 respectively, while passages 11, 12 and 12a communicated with the channels 2, 3 and 3a respectively are provided inside the rotary die 6 which is provided on the outer periphery of the central fixed shaft 1 in such a manner that it can be rotated by the operation of a chain wheel 5. In this way, the passages 11, 12 and 12a for resin are provided circularly and continuously so that resin can be supplied from the supplying channels 2, 3 and 3a successively. Accordingly, the resin which is discharged enters a gathering chamber 19 surrounded by fixed dies 14 and 15 and is further discharged from a lip 13 positioned in the above as the multilayer synthetic resin body such as the multilayer film having an annular cross section.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To manufacture continuously the heat-shrinkable sheet having a connecting tongue at the tip end thereof by a method wherein two layers of the extruded molten sheet of thermoplastic resin are laminated under inserting a separating sheet at every regular time intervals and is cut after the heat-shrinkability is provided. CONSTITUTION:The separating strip sheet 4 is inserted between the two layers of the molten sheet bodies 3, 3' of the thermoplastic resin extruded from a pair of T dies 2, 2' arranged in parallel at every regular time intervals so as to cross the discharging direction of the sheet bodies. The whole of the molten sheet bodies between which the sheet 4 is inserted are adhered by a pressure of pressing rolls 5, 5' and a laminated sheet 6 provided with ramified parts separated into two layers with the separating sheet 4 at regular intervals is formed. The laminated sheet 6 is stretched through a temperature regulating roll 17 and a stretching roll 18 and is cooled by a cooling roll 19, thus, the laminated sheet 6' in continuous lengths having the heat shrinkability in the lengthwise direction is formed continuously. Subsequently, the laminated sheet 6' is cut at the ramifited parts or near the ramified parts in a direction orthogonal to the lengthwise direction thereof to manufacture the heat-shrinkable sheet 7.

Abstract: PURPOSE:A polyethylene composition having improved mechanical properties, which comprises predominantly a high-pressure polyethylene having a specific melt tension, a melt index, a density and a proportion of vinyl acetate structural units. CONSTITUTION:At least 80wt% of a high-pressure polyethylene having a melt tension of 4.5-8g, a melt index of 0.05-0.5g/10min and a density of 0.930- 0.940g/cm and a vinyl acetate structural unit content of 1-5%, is incorporated. Synthetic resins which can be used, other than said high-pressure polyethylene, include thermoplastic ethylene resins such as medium- and low-pressure polyethylenes and polypropylenes. The proportion of such a thermoplastic resin is preferably within 5wt%. As additives which can be used, there can be mentioned ultraviolet inhibitors and antioxidants. For example, about 0.5-10wt% of carbon black is added.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To uniform thermal contraction of a heat-recovering resin by providing its inside with a net-like body, using a flexible electric conductor, etc., as a heat-generating element so that it is enabled to generate heat from its inside and heat its entire body uniformly and simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:A flexible electric conductor, covered with a bridging synthetic resin in advance, and a thread or a string-like body, composed of a thermal plastic synthetic resin, are organized as longitudinal and latitudinal threads, and thus obtained net-like body is provided as a heat-generating element. On the other hand, bridging polyethylene, etc., as a heat-recovering synthetic resin formed body making element is stretched in a condition of high temperature, its temperature is lowered below crystal melting point by maintaining the condition as it is and then it is solidified by adjusting its gel content rate preferably to 30-45% for manufacturing of thin leaf-like material such as film etc. And then, after thus prepared thin leaf-like material and net-like object are piled in layers alternately, they are thermally joined together by external heat of a constant temperature heating tank, etc., to be turned into an integrated unit. USE:Corrosion-preventing material for pipe joint and electric wire joint protective material, etc.
