Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a karaoke device which is capable of reducing the traffic caused by the distribution of music data required to the version up of the music data and updating the version of sound sources and music data without maneging the version up operation. SOLUTION: Updata of music data is conventionally conducted by adding replacing part data and the replacing information, that indicates the versions of the replacing part data, to the music data. When replacing information is supplied to a CPU 1 during a karaoke playing, a music version control section 20 compares the version of a music instrument sound source 9 and the replacing information. Then, the section 20 selects the information suitable to the version of the source 9 among the playing event data in the conventional music data being supplied by the CPU 1 and the playing event data in the replacing part data and outputs the information to a music signal generating section 21.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make sounds of a multi-timbre voice not shifted and collapsed. SOLUTION: As to plural slots to which plural waveforms of the multi-timbre voice are assigned, control processings of waveform formations are executed continuously regardless of the slot number. Moreover, the inputting of a control changing message or the like is inhibited by inhibiting an interrupt processing in the period of the control processings of the waveform formations of the plural slots. Thus, it is eliminated that the plural waveforms of the multi-timbre voice are assigned to separated slots and processing timing are shifted and also it is eliminated that a parameter is changed in the course of the processings and processing conditions of plural waveforms are different and sounds are collapsed.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a KARAOKE system (orchestration without lyrics) with which plural singers can be participated and enjoy singing together. SOLUTION: A microphone 1 for main vocal is provided for singing a main melody and a microphone 2 for sub-vocal is provided for singing a harmony melody. Since the musical scale or the start to sing is difficult for the part of harmony melody in comparison with the part of main melody, ordinary singers can not be participated considerably. Then, a correction part 5 corrects singing voice signals inputted from the microphone 2 for sub-vocal so as to be exactly matched with the pitch of harmony melody and outputs them to a mixing part 4. Thus, even a person, who can not sing the harmony melody well, can be easily participated as sub-vocal.

Moreover, to which of MIDI equipments which of MIDIOUT terminals 13a, 13b, 13c is connected is stored in a return monitor part 24. When a MIDI message is inputted from a MIDIIN terminal 11, which of MIDI equipments the message is to be outputted to is judged based on the receiving MIDI channel and the receiving device ID of the MIDI message and further to which of MIDIOUT terminals the massage is to be outputted is judged based on the storage content of the return minitor part 24. Then, the MIDI message is outputted to a prescribed output buffer based on the judgement. Furthermore, things concerning to the substantial content of the message such as the range of note or the like may be included in the distribution rule in addition to the receiving MIDI channels and the device IDs.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a KARAOKE device in which the KARAOKE singing is outputted in an original singer's voice. CONSTITUTION: KARAOKE singing signals are inputted to a voice converting DSP 30 through an A/D converter 29 and simultaneously original singer's signals are inputted from a CPU 10. The original singer's signals are stored in the musical data together with the KARAOKE playing data. Then, frequencies and sound volumes are extracted from the KARAOKE singing signals and the original singer's signals. The differences are added to the original singer's signals and the original singer's signals are frequency and volume changed so as to make the signals similar to the KARAOKE singing signals. Thus, the frequencies and volumes of the singing signals of the original singer are made similar to the frequencies and volumes of the KARAOKE singer and then, the signals are outputted as the KARAOKE singing signals. Thus, the actual tone quality is made closer to the original singer's quality and yet, the KARAOKE singer's features in his singing is preserved, compensated for and outputted. In other words, the KARAOKE singing of the original singer is controlled and is made to fit the KARAOKE singer's way of singing. Thus, making the KARAOKE singing more attractive.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To attain a data processor capable of freely transferring inputted MIDI data independently of the format of the MIDI data. CONSTITUTION: An exchange 2 is connected to a controller 4 for outputting MIDI data. The exchange 2 is provided with an exchange table and transfers inputted MIDI data to a prescribed merge device 3 in accordance with the kind or contents of the data. Merge devices 3 are provided by one correspondingly to plural controlled devices 5 respectively. MIDI data transferred from plural exchanges 2 are inputted to the controlled devices 5 while coupled so as not to collide with each other. Since exchange table can optionally set up distribution based upon contents of the MIDI data, the degree of freedom in the distribution of channels can be extremely improved notwithstanding the distribution by 16 channels based upon MIDI channels (n) in a conventional method.

When the automatic performance is reproduced, an emotion curve is generated by an emotion curve generating circuit 11 according to the stored emotion data and the value of the emotion curve is converted into a control parameter by using an emotion pattern table 14 to control the reproduced musical sound.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to express enthusiasm for performance during playing by inputting discrepancy of pronouncing timing in real time by a player and moving the pronouncing timing for a minute time near the finger timing. CONSTITUTION:When the start/stop switch 31 of an operation panel 17 is made ON, data in a rhythm pattern memory 13 and a code pattern memory 14 are read out in order based on timer interruption and automatic accompaniment is performed. A player makes a tap switch 30 ON in nearly respective rhythmic timings at the time of automatic accompaniment. In the case when this ON timing is shifted forward, tempo is made up in accordance with the degree thereof, and when this shifted backward, the tempo is made down. Enthusiasm for performance can be given to automatic accompaniment data thereby. Still, it is allowed to measure a time in which ON state appears by one tapping action of the switch 30, calculate its ratio to the time of one rhythm, and shift pronouncing timing for next rhythm note forward or backward for a minute time in accordance with the magnitude of on duty ratio.
