Abstract:
A karaoke apparatus is constructed to perform a karaoke accompaniment part and a karaoke harmony part for accompanying a live vocal part. A pickup device collects a singing voice of the live vocal part. A detector device analyzes the collected singing voice to detect a musical register thereof at which the live vocal part is actually performed. A harmony generator device generates a harmony voice of the karaoke harmony part according to the detected musical register so that the karaoke harmony part is made consonant with the live vocal part. A tone generator device generates an instrumental tone of the karaoke accompaniment part in parallel to the karaoke harmony part.
Abstract:
There is provided an apparatus for displaying musical score data (MS) in a display area. In the apparatus, a specifying device (PS) specifies a display range of original musical score data (MS). An extracting device (DE) extracts musical score data included in the display range from the original musical score data (MS) and extracts musical information precluded from the display range but influencing the extracted musical score data from the original musical score data (MS). A determining device (MD) determines whether a supplementary display is necessary or not in accordance with the specified display range. A setting device divides the display area into a main display area and an auxiliary display area when the supplementary display is necessary. A display device displays the extracted musical score data in the main display area and concurrently displays the extracted musical information in the auxiliary display area. The display area may be divided into a plurality of display sub areas. A display format is specified for each of the display sub areas in accordance with setting of the division of the display area. The original musical score data (MS) is processed to generate musical score data compliant with the display format.
Abstract:
Abstract:
An encrypted contents file contains use restriction information, and contents. The use restriction information corresponds to such an information capable of restricting a use of the contents when the contents are used. A Web server provides the encrypted contents file to a client, and thereafter, transmits use approval information outputted from a use approving unit to the client in response to a request issued from this client. The use approving unit approves the use of the contents under such a condition that the client has paid a consideration of the use of the contents, and changes a use restriction of the contents provided to the client, so that the client can use the contents. The contents can include a plurality of representation modes and can be music information.

Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform evaluation less diverging from human feeling when evaluation performance accompanied with expression performance.SOLUTION: Each time when a characteristic waveform of expression singing appears in a waveform of a signal Sindicative of a pitch and a signal Sindicative of a volume of singing sounds outputted from a vocal adapter 16, a CPU 17 of a karaoke device 10-m obtains the appearance time of the characteristic waveform of expression singing on a time base having a sound production start time of a note NT(i) being the object of expression singing, as the reference point and generates expression singing appearance data indicative of the type and appearance time of appearing expression singing. The CPU 17 selects an evaluation point VSR(t) corresponding to the expression singing and the appearance time shown by the expression singing appearance data, from evaluation points VSR(t) corresponding to respective expression singing, which are shown by singing reference data DD with respect to the note NT(i) and evaluates the skill of singing on the basis of the evaluation point VSR(t).
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize deviation between an evaluation result by an apparatus and an evaluation by a listener without preparing scoring reference data for every music piece in advance in the apparatus for evaluating a skill of singing and a musical performance.SOLUTION: A scoring unit 12 identifies a pitch, sound volume, and a voice quality of singing voice data as features, and evaluates the singing voice data on a plurality of evaluation items such as "music interval", "rhythm", and "modulation" based on the identified features. The scoring unit 12 identifies features (a progress of code, key, rhythm, and the like) of accompaniment sound from accompaniment sound data to identify a value of a weighting coefficient for every evaluation item on the basis of the identified features. The scoring unit 12 weights an evaluation value for every evaluation item using the identified weighting coefficient for every evaluation item and evaluates the singing voice data according to the weighting results.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user's singing ability and performance ability applicable to other musical pieces.SOLUTION: A plurality of rhythm templates representing strings of sound production timings of notes are stored per evaluation item in a composition template data storage area 22. A singing instruction engine 10 specifies a pitch of singer's singing voice collected by a microphone 80 and evaluates the singing voice on the basis of the specified pitch with respect to a plurality of evaluation items. A singing instruction selection engine 14 specifies an evaluation item with respect to which the evaluation result meets a preliminarily determined condition. A singing instruction composition engine 30 reads out a rhythm template corresponding to the specified evaluation item from the composition template data storage area 22. The singing instruction composition engine 30 generates and outputs music data representing a musical piece constituted of a string of notes according with the string of sound production timings of notes shown by the read rhythm template.
