An insulation cover for a high voltage paint dosing apparatus, the apparatus comprising a docking head arranged to receive at least one dosing cylinder filled with paint for dosing to an applicator or gun. The docking head is arranged substantially- surrounded by the insulation cover and whereby the external surface of the insulation cover is partly covered by aconductive or non-insulating layer (3). A system comprising the paint dosing apparatus with the insulation cover is also described.

A door opener arrangement for a robot coating device, used for detecting a position of a part (6) of a door (7) so that the door can be opened and/or closed for interior painting. The door opener is arranged with at least one non-contact sensor member (1), preferably for detecting changes in a field strength of a magnetic or electromagnetic field in a Z and vertical direction, and may be arranged with a plurality of sensors to detect a collision etc. A method, system and computer program are also described.

The invention deals with improved reliability in safety critical control of real world objects. Examples of real world objects subject to safety control are gas/smoke/fire detection systems, drilling equipment, pipes and pipelines, distillation columns, compressors, conveyor systems, boilers and turbines. A test application includes all relevant high-level language constructs and is repeatedly executed as assembler code in an industrial controller, which CPU is subject to fault detection during on-line safety control.

The invention generally relates to energy metering for billing purposes, low voltage cable protection against by-pass coupling and communication possibilities for collecting energy meter values. More particularly, the invention relates to a system for electric energy distribution and for remote electricity metering, comprising a low voltage distribution grid having at least one splitting site, wherein at least one splitting site has a distribution unit. The distribution unit comprises connection means (18) and energy metering means (20) for each consumer site and a data communication unit (24) arranged to receive metering values from said energy means (20) and transmits the collected metering values from said distribution unit (14).

The invention concerns a system for operating an electric machine and a method for protecting an operation control unit in such a system. The system comprises an operation control unit (20), an alternating current cable (16) connecting the machine (30) with the operation control unit and an electric short-circuiting arrangement (26). This arrangement is connected to terminals of the operation control unit facing the cable and short circuits these terminals based on a detected overvoltage.

The invention refers to an explosion protection system for electrical apparatuses and machineries, such as manipulators or industrial robots, located in hazardous environments, i.e. environments containing explosive concentrations of inflammable gases, dusts or vapours, comprising means for applying internal pressurized air into an explosion proof enclosure and that has a purging system and electrical components, such as motors, relays, IC-boards, cables etc. The invention is achieved by, that a flow-and pressure sensor is arranged as an integrated unit and designed to stand high dynamic forces by having low inertia, balanced arrangement of moving parts and a movement guide, e.g. an axle with a support guide, with low friction.
Abstract:
The invention is a method, controller and control system for controlling a robot that is used in concert with at least one other robot to perform an operation on one or more work objects. Each robot controller checks whether a common reference value is not acceptable, and if so, provides a signal for the robot to wait before proceeding to the next task. Each robot controller also checks whether the target object is in the correct position or not; and also checks whether or not another robot has stopped. If either another robot has stopped and/or if the work object is not in the right position, the robot waits. The invention is particularly advantageous for automated painting whereby a production line may be re-started more quickly again after a stoppage or production delay.

An electrostatic separator intended for separation of liquid phase systems, made up of mixtures of liquids of various electrical permittivity. In particular, the separator is intended for separation of an oil-and-water emulsion. The electrostatic separator contains a vessel, inside which there is suspended a system of electrodes energised from an external voltage source. The electrode system comprises at least one pair of conducting plates (8), which is attached to a supporting frame (7) and electrically connected with the high voltage winding of a feeding transformer (9), which is placed in the supporting frame (7). The supporting frame (7) is preferably a casting of an insulating material. The conducting plates (8) of the electrode system are preferably connected to the winding of the feeding transformer (9) through a capacitive electrical connection.
