Abstract:
A device for opening and closing a fuel tank inlet cover for a vehicle can be easily assembled without the influence of a working space. The device includes a cover provided to a cap member having a fuel tank inlet so as to rotate with respect to a hinge, a push-lift provided such that an upper end portion thereof is lifted or lowered with respect to a through hole, which is formed in a coupling rib of the cover so as to be inserted into or withdrawn from the through hole, a lock rod for moving forward or backward to one side or the other side such that the push-lift is locked or unlocked, and an actuator for enabling the lock rod to move forward or backward in one or the other direction.
Abstract:
A threaded drum is rotated by a drive shaft. As the threaded drum rotates, part of a cable is wrapped around the drum, while at the same time, a second part of the cable is unwrapped from the drum. Rotation of the drive shaft is based on rotation of an operator.
Abstract:
A display case includes a housing partially surrounding a display space, a door pivotably coupled to the housing and cooperating with the housing to further enclose the display space, and a hinge assembly for pivotably coupling the door to the housing. The hinge assembly includes a biasing member applying a biasing force on the door and a gear drive for adjusting a pre-tension force on the biasing member.
Abstract:
A spring winding device, a counterbalancing force adjustment device for a counterbalancing mechanism, and a method of adjusting an amount of force stored in a spring of a counterbalancing mechanism are provided. The spring winding device includes a support bracket, a worm gear, and a drive gear. The worm gear is rotatably coupled to the support bracket and includes a mount portion for coupling a first end cone thereto. The drive gear is rotatably disposed adjacent the support bracket and is drivingly engaged with the worm gear. A rotation of the drive gear causes the worm gear to rotate within the support bracket. The spring winding device does not require pretensioning using winding rods, maintains rigidity and alignment when a counterbalancing force is applied, and decreases a cost and a complexity of the counterbalancing mechanism.
Abstract:
Gear unit and a motor-driven gear unit for cable window lift systems of motor vehicles, including drive and gear mechanism which cooperates with the drive and is coupled to rotatably mounted cable drum for winding and unwinding cable of the cable window lift system. According to the invention a diameter of the cable drum of the gear unit or motor-driven gear unit is in a range from about 22 mm to about 30 mm, wherein a gear ratio of the gear mechanism ranges from about 1:38 to about 1:55. A cable drum has, on its end side, claws which engage in correspondingly designed recesses on the end side of a worm wheel. Electric motors having a maximum driving torque of only about 5.7 Nm can be used. Overall, the size of the gear unit or motor-driven gear unit can be reduced by about 40-50%.
Abstract:
An extension spring overhead door system in which the spring may be quickly and easily placed in tension with the door in a closed position. A spring tensioning device is provided which eliminates the need for multiple installers to lift the full weight of the door and then clamp or otherwise prop the door in an open position. An extension spring containment tube is also provided which surrounds the entire periphery of the spring to fully contain the entire length of the extension spring.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an actuator for the rotary drive of a vehicle flap. The actuator includes an electric motor, which has a output shaft with a center axis, an output unit, which is in force-transmitting connection with the electric motor in such a manner that activation of the electric motor causes a rotational displacement of the output unit about an axis of rotation of the output unit, and a mounting unit which is configured to support the actuator in force-transmitting connection with a superordinate assembly relative to the drive unit such that, upon activation of the electric motor, a displacement of the drive unit relative to the mounting unit takes place. Also disclosed is a storage apparatus for a vehicle door and a motor vehicle.
Abstract:
A mechanism (A) that is used in moveable facades and shutter systems, garage doors and access systems is provided, allowing opening and closing of panels (P) positioned between rail profile (10) and lower rail (R).
Abstract:
A panel device (10), particularly a roof light for a recreational vehicle, comprises an at least substantially polygonal frame (11, 12) which surrounds an opening (15). A window (20) is connected to the frame for pivoting about a pivot axis and comprises a panel (21) which extends over the opening. Provided between the frame and the window is a stay device (50) which is manipulable between a first position, in which the window is forced into a flat state and closes the opening, and at least one second position in which the window is raised by the stay device and leaves the opening at least partially clear. The stay device comprises a stay (51, 52) which extends movably from an elongate guide (61, 62) at a first outer end and is connected pivotally to the window at an opposite, second outer end. The stay (51, 52) is adjustable in the guide and is coupled to an actuator (78) via a flexible transmission (71 . . . 83). The transmission comprises at least one tension-resistant pull member (71-73) which is coupled to the stay (51, 52) and which is movable in an axially at least substantially rigid yet flexible sleeve (81-83), a first outer end of which is fixed to or close to the stay (51, 52) and a second outer end of which is attached to or close to the actuator (78).
Abstract:
In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a movable barrier operator including a body, a motor supported by the body, and a rotatable drive supported by the body and configured to be connected to an elongated driven member. The movable barrier operator further includes a shaft supported by the body and a compound gear mounted on the shaft. The compound gear includes a first gear operably coupled to a drive shaft of the motor and a second gear operably coupled to the rotatable drive. The first and second gears connected such that turning of the first gear causes turning of the second gear.
