The invention relates to an element (7) intended to decrease the risk of explosion when handling fuel inside a container (1). The element is adapted to be positioned inside the container and is arranged to suppress a possible combustion of the fuel inside the container. A gas supply system including a gas cabinet defining an enclosure including therein a gas dispensing manifold and one or more adsorbent-based gas storage and dispensing vessels mounted in the enclosure and joined in gas flow communication with the gas dispensing manifold. The enclosure may be maintained under low or negative pressure conditions for enhanced safety in the event of leakage of gas from the gas storage and dispensing vessel(s) in the enclosure. The gas supply system may be coupled to a gas-consuming unit in a semiconductor manufacturing facility, e.g., an ion implanter, an etch chamber, or a chemical vapor deposition reactor.
Abstract:
Apparatus controllably breaks hollow spheres stored in an enclosure. A first screen is disposed within the enclosure on a screen support. The screen has holes that are no larger in mesh size than the smallest hollow spheres. The screen support provides support to the first screen and has void areas to allow debris from broken spheres to pass through. An impeller is in contact with the first screen such that movement of the impeller across the first screen breaks the hollow spheres in contact with the first screen.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy production plant capable of compensating a difference between produced energy and an energy demand.SOLUTION: This vessel 1 of a heat storage and release apparatus includes a shell 2 including an internal cavity for guiding a gas flow, a first opening 3 penetrating the shell for the flow of a gas of a high temperature and high pressure, a second opening 4 penetrating the shell to make a gas of a low temperature and high pressure flow to the inside and outside of the cavity, and a lining 6 formed of a heat insulating material to cover only a part of an inner face of the cavity. The lining 6 is placed on a region where the first opening 3 is positioned, that is, a place of a higher temperature.
