Abstract:
Conventional laser printers for continuous webs/labels have either gentle fixation, are relatively expensive, bulky and difficult to operate and service or are small, compact and robust but damage the printed material by heat and pressure. The profitability of a few larger versions is increased by making repeated use of the strips to be labelled. However, a separating device must be used afterward. The invention indicates a laser printer for continuous webs/labels which is inexpensive, economical to use, does not damage the adhesive layer or printed material and is easy to operate and service. The laser printer has a separating device in the same housing and is extremely compact.
Abstract:
A toner composition for developing an electrostatic latent image, which is used for an image formation method using an image fixing device for fixing a toner image on a recording medium by flash light, comprises at least a binder resin, a colorant and a charge controlling agent. The concentration of benzene generated by heat-treating the composition at 330 DEG C for 90 seconds is not greater than 60 mu g/g. This composition prolongs the filter life or does not need the use of the filter.
Abstract:
A printer comprises an electronic photograph unit, which uses toner to develop an electrostatic latent image formed on a photosensitive member and transfers it to a sheet of paper, and an optical fixing device that fuses the toner image on the paper using intense radiation to fix the image. A preheating unit using a Peltier unit as a heat medium is arranged in a stage preceding the optical fixing device, and the paper and the passage are preheated by the waste heat from the Peltier unit to improve the performance of the optical fixing device. Cooled air from the Peltier unit is used to cool the optical fixing device and other units.
Abstract:
A toner consisting of particles to which titanium black particles having a property such that the color changes from black to white by application of flash light adhere.
Abstract:
A toner image formed on an image carrier (11) through processes including charge elimination, main charging, exposure and developing is transferred to a record medium (S) and settled using a flashlight to obtain an image. A device (10) for image formation includes a main charger (12) and secondary charger (17) having the same polarity as the main charger and an absolute charge potential higher than that of the main charger to perform secondary charging.

Abstract:
A fixing device (10) provided with a fixing unit (140) provided with a heat source (14) for fixing a toner image on paper in a state out of contact with the paper, and a contact prevention unit (11,26) for preventing contact of the fixing unit and the paper. When a jam of recording paper (112) is detected, a fan (26) and an air intake device (34), which are contact prevention units, are driven. Air sent from a fixing device direction is blown to a recording surface side of the recording paper (112), and a rear surface side of the recording paper (112) is drawn to a side plate (28) side by air intaken to an air intake device direction. Thereby, the recording paper (112) divides from a cover glass (16), and adhesion of toner (T) on the cover glass (16) is prevented.
