Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programmable controller which is voice programmable and voice-activated, for activating an appliance controlled by an activation signal. SOLUTION: If a user verbally indicates the appliance is activated by a rolling code activation signal, the controller transmits a sequence of different rolling code activation signals until the user verbally indicates a successful rolling code transmission. The controller stores data representing the successful rolling code transmission. If the user verbally indicates the appliance is activated by a fixed code activation signal, the controller uses a fixed code word to transmit each of a sequence of different fixed code activation signals until the user verbally indicates a successful fixed code transmission. The controller then stores data representing the fixed code word and a fixed code scheme used to generate the successful fixed code transmission. Abstract:
In an environment in which a control device can communicate with a plurality of controlled devices over a wireless LAN, the present invention prevents the control device from accidentally controlling a controlled device other than a prescribed controlled device. In a pairing step (S100), verification is performed as to whether a random number inputted into the control device (SP) matches an authentication random number that a controlled device (SK) had a display device display, and if said random numbers match, a public key for said controlled device (SK) is handed over to the control device (SP). In an activation step (S200), when the control device (SP) has requested activation of the controlled device (SK), verification is performed as to whether the control device (SP) is in possession of the actual public key of the controlled device (SK), and if so, a session key is shared between the control device (SP) and the controlled device (SK). In a secure communication step (S300), communication between the devices is performed using said session key.

A system for installation in a vehicle and for controlling a device, the system including a trainable transceiver, communications electronics, and a processing circuit coupled to the trainable transceiver and the communications electronics. The processing circuit is configured to train the trainable transceiver to control a device using information received from a cloud computing system remote from the device and vehicle via the communications electronics.
Abstract:
A wireless control system for wireless control of a remote electronic system comprises a trainable transmitter circuit, a receiver circuit, and a control circuit. The trainable transmitter circuit is configured to transmit a wireless control signal having control data which will control the remote electronic system. The receiver circuit is configured to receive a wireless status signal including status data for the remote electronic system sent in response to the wireless control signal. The control circuit is coupled to the trainable transmitter circuit and the receiver circuit and configured to transmit the wireless control signal through the trainable transmitter circuit and to receive the wireless status signal through the receiver circuit.
Abstract:
A trainable transmitter is disclosed that is capable of learning and replicating both AM and FM signals. The disclosed trainable transmitter also has the capacity to learn and replicate RF signals in both the 27 MHz to 40 MHz and the 250 MHz to 450 MHz frequency bands commonly used in European garage door openers. The disclosed trainable transmitter allows an individual to input an identification of the country in which the trainable transmitter will be operated such that the trainable transmitter may then transmit the learned signals at the maximum levels permitted for the identified county.

A trainable transceiver having an integrated interface connections with various vehicle modules for use with various remote electronic devices and a method of programming and using the same. The wireless trainable transceiver is in a vehicle with an integrated interface allowing connection to a human to machine interface and vehicle position determination device, such a navigation system and compass and the wireless trainable transceiver has the ability to change functions associated with preset buttons on the trainable transceiver, depending upon the location of the vehicle.
