Abstract:
A system (10) for automatically reproducing an image (95) on a large suface (90), such as the external wall of a building or a billboard. The system (10) includes a computer (12), a translator program (20), a controller card (30), and an image reproduction machinery (40). The computer (12) is programmed with the translating program (20), which converts a downloaded image file into a data file capable of being used by the controller card (30). The controller card (30) is used to control drivers (32) that control various motors (47, 52, 76) on the image reproduction machinery. The image production machinery (40) comprises a guide rail (42), a carriage (50), and a medium head assembly (60). The guide rail (42) is suspended adjacent to the surface (90) to be painted. During operation, the guide rail (42) moves along one axis of the surface (90) and the carriage (52) moves longitudinally over the guide rail (42). The medium head assembly (60) contains a plurality of airbrushes (66) that are equally spaced apart with their tips aimed at a single point on the surface (90), thereby producing a single pixel of various colors and shades.
Abstract:
A multiple-site drawn-image sharing apparatus is disclosed that causes images drawn on drawing objects provided at multiple sites to be shared between the drawing objects. The apparatus includes an image storage unit configured to store the images drawn at the respective sites; an image synthesizing unit configured to superimpose and synthesize the images stored in the image storage unit in a manner so as not to include the images drawn at transmission destinations; and an image transmission unit configured to transmit the images synthesized by the image synthesizing unit to the respective sites.
Abstract:
A "conversion" device enables a conventional, dedicated copier designed for the singular purpose of making copies to be employed additionally as an electronically-driven printing apparatus, includes a display on tablet (1) with a light shield (2) disposed in optical communication with the window of a copier (4) and receives image signals from a remote source (11, 12, 13).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A preview device, an electronic device and an image forming apparatus are provided to preview images when outputting the images such as characters or graphic figures. CONSTITUTION: An image display unit(20) simulates a state where a predetermined image is actually drawn on an image-forming surface on which a tangible image is formed. A data processor(10) acquires display information about the actual display state of the image displayed by the image display unit(20) on the image-forming surface. Display information contains at least one of the size of the displayed image on the image-forming surface, the position of the displayed image on the image-forming surface and the color of the displayed image on the image-forming surface.
Abstract:
The liquid crystal display projector for projecting the image and copying it onto a photographic film at the same time in response to a control signal comprises a projection optical system (1) including a rear mirror (11), an LCD panel (15), a projection lens (17) and a partial reflective mirror (16) provided between the LCD panel and the projection lens, a copier otpical system (2) including a total reflective mirror (21), a copier lens (22), an LCD shutter (23) and a film (24), and a control unit (3) for supplying a video drive signal (VD) to the LCD panel (15) and a shutter output control signal (SO) to the LCD shutter when a copy selection signal (CO) is applied to the control unit.
Abstract:
Abstract:
To make it possible to draw an image as intended. A printing device 1 displays a previewed image on a surface for printing (printing paper or a surface for pasting a print) to allow the user to preview how content data will be printed. As the user adjusts the previewed image to obtain intended results, an image identical to the image being previewed is printed on the printing paper. This makes it easy to print desired content. Specifically, since the user can verify an image displayed on the surface on which the image will be actually printed or pasted, it is poss ible to prevent the actual print produced or pasted on the printing paper from differing from the user's expectations.
