Abstract: A method for preparing a transparent fluorine-free, super-lubricating and oil-proof coating includes: dissolving a sulfhydryl compound, a styrene copolymer, a low surface energy component, and a photoinitiator in an organic solvent, conducting a uniform stirring to obtain a mixture, coating the mixture onto a substrate, and conducting a curing under an ultraviolet lamp to obtain the transparent fluorine-free, super-lubricating and oil-proof coating. The coating has excellent adhesion resistance to various organic solvents with low surface tension and even liquids with high viscosity, and has excellent chemical stability and mechanical durability. The coating can be applied to various substrates such as glass, an aluminum sheet, a steel sheet, and a polymer without limitations of a use environment, maintains excellent adhesion resistance in the environment of air, oil, and water, and has wide applicability. Moreover, according to the method, various ways such as spraying, dip-coating and spin-coating can be used.

In some embodiments, the adhesive formulation may exclude a low viscosity polymer. In some embodiments, the adhesive formulation may include a low viscosity polymer in no more than a specified amount. At least one method of using the adhesive formulation and at least one roofing system comprising the adhesive formulation are also described herein.

Abstract: This application relates to synthetic elastomeric articles, such as gloves, comprising the cured product of a synthetic latex composition, the synthetic latex composition comprising a synthetic carboxylated polymer and a cross-linking composition, the cross-linking composition comprising an aqueous solution of a negatively charged multivalent metal complex ion having a pH of at least 9.0. Also described are compositions for forming the articles, and methods for making the articles, based on the use of the described cross-linking composition. The articles, compositions and methods contain a second cross-linking agent comprising either (a) sulphur and a sulphur donor, (b) a multivalent metal oxide or ionic cross-linking agent, (c) sulphur, a sulphur donor and an ionic cross-linking agent, or (d) sulphur donor.

Abstract: The present invention provides a polymer composition for fibers or non-woven fabrics, comprising a vinyl aromatic based copolymer and 0 to 30 wt % of an olefin based polymer based on the total weight of the polymer composition. The vinyl aromatic copolymer is represented by a formula A1-B-A2, wherein block A1 and block A2 are the same or different vinyl aromatic blocks, block A1 or block A2 having 3,800 to 4,800 of a peak molecular weight, and block B is a hydrogenated conjugated diene block. A vinyl structure content of a conjugated diene monomer content in the vinyl aromatic based copolymer is from 32 wt % to 50 wt %; and a melt flow index (MFI) of the vinyl aromatic based copolymer is 20 g/10 min˜60 g/10 min (230° C., 2.16 kg). The present invention also provides the fibers or the non-woven fabrics made from the polymer composition.

Abstract: A coating composition for application to a substrate utilizing a high transfer efficiency applicator. The coating composition includes a carrier and a binder comprising an elastomeric resin in an amount of at least 50 weight %, wherein the elastomeric resin has an Elongation to Break of at least 500% according to DIN 53 504. The coating composition has an Ohnesorge number (Oh) of from about 0.01 to about 12.6. The coating composition has a Reynolds number (Re) of from about 0.02 to about 6,200.
