Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, at low cost, a drive device pivoting a leap-up flap of a vehicle body. SOLUTION: In the drive device having a drive motor 1 pivotally driving the leap-up flap 5 through a transmission mechanism and pivoting the leap-up flap installed on the vehicle body around the pivot axis thereof, the drive motor 1 can be switched between a driving active state and a non-driving inactive state. The drive motor 1 is so formed that can be rotated in the inactive state at least without causing a strong resistance. A braking device 3 is disposed in the transmission mechanism starting at the drive motor 1 to the leap-up flap 5 so that the transmission mechanism can be blocked by the brake device 3. The braking device 3 is brought into a blocked state when the drive motor 1 is in the inactive state and a non-blocked state when the drive motor 1 is in the active state. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set a door holding opening in multiple stages in a door checker for an automobile. SOLUTION: This door checker for the automobile comprises a case 1 fixed to the door D of the automobile, a check lever 6 swingably pivoted on a body B movably through the case 1 and having a rack 17 on one side face, a pinion 20 meshed with the rack 17 and rotatably stored in the case 1, a movable shoe 31 stored in the case 1 so as to be engaged with and disengaged from the tooth part 20a of the pinion 20a, and a check spring 32 energizing the movable shoe 31 in the engagement direction with the pinion 20. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening/closing device for braking a door at an arbitrary position, and allowing a door opening/closing mechanism to actuate in a direction for closing the door. SOLUTION: This door opening/closing device is equipped with a clutch transmitting a power from a drive means to a door opening/closing mechanism when electricity is conducted, and shutting off the transmission of the power from the drive means to the door opening/closing mechanism when the electricity is not conducted. The clutch comprises a drive disc 32a driven by a drive means; a couple-drive disc 33a jointed with the drive disc 32a to transmit the power from the drive means to the door opening/closing mechanism when the electricity is conducted, and separated from the drive disc 32a to shut off the transmission of the power from the drive means to the door opening/closing mechanism; and a brake disc 38 jointed with the couple-drive disc 33a to brake the door opening/closing mechanism in a direction for opening the door under a condition that the drive disc 32a is separated from the couple-drive disc 33a, and allowing the door opening/closing mechanism to actuate in a direction for closing the door.
