Abstract:
A pulley assembly for an overhead counter weight door features a base plate and a support arrangement carried on and spaced from the base plate so that the base and support arrangements face toward one another. A shaft is carried on the base plate and the support arrangement to extend therebetween with a pulley supported on the shaft between the base plate and the support arrangement for rotation about an axis defined by the shaft. A plurality of wall sections extends between the base plate and the support arrangement to establish connection therebetween radially outward from the shaft beyond an outer periphery of the pulley on more than two sides thereof.
Abstract:
A window regulator assembly is described that comprises a window having a rear, front, bottom, and top edge, front and rear window run channels in which the rear and front window edges reversibly move, a plurality of carrier plates in contact with the bottom edge of the window, a plurality of pulleys, a plurality of pulley attachments, a cable wire, and a drive unit. Many of the components of the window regulator assembly may be formed from a thermoplastic material.
Abstract:
In a window regulator 10, when a pin bolt 42 provisionally attached to a pulley 22 and a pulley support 54 is fastened to a door panel 14 by a nut 52, the pulley 22 and the pulley support 54 are supported on the pin bolt 42 and attached to a predetermined position on the door panel 14. Here, in the above-described provisionally attached state, the pin bolt 42 is held in the pulley 22 by pin member holding claws 74 of the pulley 22, and the pulley 22 is held in the pulley support 54 by pulley holding claws 68 of the pulley support 54. Consequently, when the pin bolt 42 is to be fastened to a body panel, the pulley 22, the pulley support 54, and the pin bolt 42 can be handled as a single part. Thus, the work of attaching a pulley and a pulley support to a body panel of a vehicle can be facilitated.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a cable guide for changing direction of an inner cable for operating a sliding door of a car, comprising a pulley casing having a box shape with an opening at its top and a guide recess at an inner side of its bottom, a slider provided with a sliding plate slidably guided by means of the guide recess of the pulley casing and a shaft extending upward from a top of the sliding plate, a pulley rotatably supported by the shaft of the slider, an urging member urging the slider along the guide recess toward a direction for giving tension to the inner cable, and a casing cover covering the opening of the pulley casing, and being configured so that an inner side of the casing cover and a top face of the shaft are slidable each other.
Abstract:
An automatic opening/closing apparatus for vehicle, which is provided with a tensioner mechanism for applying a predetermined tension to a cable member, is downsized. A case of a driving unit is provided with a tensioner housing, and the tensioner mechanism for applying the predetermined tension to a cable is accommodated in the tensioner housing. The tensioner mechanism includes a pulley holder movably mounted on a guide shaft, and a spring for biasing the pulley holder, wherein a movable pulley is rotatably supported by the pulley holder. The cable drawn in the tensioner housing is wound about the movable pulley so that a direction in which the cable is drawn out from the case is substantially parallel to a direction in which the cable is drawn out from a driving drum, whereby the predetermined tension is applied to the cable by a spring force of the spring.
Abstract:
A drive arrangement for a shaft has a module carried by the shaft and including a motor, a driven wheel and a drive wheel. The motor, gearbox and drive wheel are carried on a slider plate which can slide transverse to the axis of the shaft. A front plate is fixed transverse to the axis of the shaft. A Bowden cable has its sheath attached to the front plate, and its inner cable attached to the slider plate, so that manipulation of the Bowden cable at a remote location allows force to be applied between the plates either tightening the belt to apply drive from the motor to the shaft, or releasing tension in the belt, to disengage the drive.
Abstract:
A door opening system includes a power transmission mechanism, a trolley, and a connecting arm. The power transmission mechanism includes a motor, a drive wheel driven rotatably by the motor, an indirect wheel, and a tension wheel. A transmission rope is trained on the drive, indirect and tension wheels in a closed loop such that parts of the transmission rope extend along a spiral path on the drive and indirect wheels, and do not contact each other, and such that rotation of the drive wheel drives the indirect and tension wheels rotatably. The trolley is coupled to the transmission rope, and is disposed between the indirect and tension wheels of the power transmission mechanism. The connecting arm has a first end coupled to the trolley, and a second end adapted to be coupled to the garage door.
Abstract:
A motorized operator for moving a barrier, such as an upward acting garage door, between open and closed positions includes a support mounted adjacent one of a pair of barrier guide tracks or along a barrier counterbalance shaft and a drive mechanism mounted on the support and engaged with an elongated flexible member, such as a chain, cable or cog belt. A cog belt, for example, is connected to a drawbar connected to the barrier at one end and the belt is either connected directly to the barrier at the opposite end or to a storage reel supported for rotation on and with a shaft of a barrier counterbalance mechanism. The storage reel may include a spiral groove and be supported on the counterbalance shaft for axial translation to receive and dereel the belt as the barrier is moved between open and closed positions. One or more belt tensioning pulleys may be mounted on the support.
Abstract:
A vehicle door drive unit for raising and lowering a glass plate is constructed so that a plurality of pulleys across which wires extend are provided at upper and lower sides of a base panel. The glass plate is supported by a carrier plate which is connected to the wire ends. The glass plate is moved up and down by the wires and is prevented from excessively moving in a vehicle inward direction when the door is closed by a supporting rod positioned along an upward and downward path of the glass plate and a contact member. Trumpet shaped guide portions are formed at the edges of holes of the wire fixing portions of the carrier plate and the circumferential surfaces of a V-shaped tensioner are provided for eliminating slack in the wires.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a deflection device for an adjustment device of a motor vehicle for the deflection of an elongate, flexible traction means which can be moved along a direction of extent by means of an adjustment drive and to which a motor vehicle part which is to be adjusted with the adjustment device can be connected. The deflection device comprising a support, at least one deflection element which is arranged on the support, a receptacle which is integrally formed on the support and protrudes from the support for the deflection element, an undercut which is formed on the receptacle and an elastic element which is integrally formed on the support or the deflection element and acts on the deflection element in such a manner that the deflection element tends to engage in the undercut of the receptacle.
