Abstract:
An actuating mechanism for a pivotably mounted actuating arm, in particular for driving a flap of an item of furniture, wherein the actuating arm is acted upon by a spring device, and wherein an electric drive acts on the actuating arm via a transmission mechanism, and wherein the transmission ratio of angle of rotation (α) of the motor to angle of rotation of the actuating arm is varied over the angle of rotation range of the actuating arm by the transmission mechanism.
Abstract:
A piece of furniture has a movable section e.g. hatch that pivots in response to an actuator mechanism. The actuator has a spring (5) device including a biased pushrod (13) and a translatory mechanism (7) linked to the actuator arm (2). The translatory mechanism incorporates an adjustment unit (8) that varies the translation ratio between the pushrod and actuator arm swivel action.

Abstract:
A swing leaf operator having a closer portion. The closer portion has an output shaft, on which a cam disc is torsion-resistantly disposed, as well as a pressure roller. A closer spring presses the pressure roller against a running surface of the cam disc. The pressure roller is disposed such that, during an opening or closing of a swing leaf coupled to the output shaft, the pressure roller is moved along a path. The path bypasses the axial center of the output shaft and on account of the configuration of the running surface of the cam disc, in different modes of operation of the swing leaf operator at a respective opening angle of the swing leaf, a very similar or identical torque is respectively applied to the output shaft. The swing leaf operator has a drive motor in operational connection with the output shaft.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive mechanism for a turnably-mounted driving arm for driving a covering lid of furniture. SOLUTION: The drive mechanism comprises a spring unit 5 including an urged actuating element 13 and a transmission mechanism 7 converting movement of the driving element 13 into turning motion of the drive arm 2. The transmission mechanism 7 includes at least one adjusting unit 8 for changing the conversion ratio between movement of the driving element 13 and the motion of the drive arm 2.
