According to some embodiments, a railcar comprises a center sill extending along a longitudinal centerline of the railcar, and two side sills. The two side sills are on opposite sides of, and extend parallel with, the center sill. The railcar further comprises a first inner discharge door coupled to the railcar proximate the center sill on a first side of a longitudinal centerline of the railcar (first side); a second inner discharge door coupled to the railcar proximate the center sill on a second side of the longitudinal centerline (second side); a first outer discharge door coupled proximate the side sill on the first side; a second outer discharge door coupled proximate the side sill on the second side; a first linkage coupling the first inner discharge door to the second outer discharge door; and a second linkage coupling the second inner discharge door to the first outer discharge door.

A hinge system for a pivotable door is provided. The system includes a rod extending between a first end portion and a second end portion and a restraint receiving the second portion of the rod therein with the first end portion of the rod extending through an end cap on the restraint. A biasing member is disposed within the restraint between the end cap and the second end portion of the rod, wherein the biasing member is in a compressed configuration within the restraint, and wherein the first end portion of the rod is operatively engaged with a door pivotably secured to the cooking appliance, and the restraint is pivotably connected to the cooking appliance.

The invention refers to a slow-down mechanism that prevents moving furniture units like covers, doors, etc. hitting the other side and making noise in cases of fast opening and closing actions towards fixed furniture units and thus enabling soft opening and closing actions for such moving furniture units, comprised of at least an arm (2), a bowl (3) and a internal and external knuckle element (6, 5) connecting the arm and bowl, and located inside the hinge. The invention refers especially to the capability to canceling the damper (18) belonging to the above-mentioned slow-down mechanism inside the hinge (1) and adjusting the damper's stroke depending on the weight of the moving furniture.

Selon l'invention, le vérin d'assistance (6) comprend un fourreau (7), une tige de guidage (10) logée dans le fourreau (7) et comportant à son extrémité opposée la paroi d'extrémité (8) du fourreau (7) une chape (11), un ressort (13) logé dans le fourreau (7) entourant la tige de guidage (10) et monté précontraint à l'état libre entre la paroi d'extrémité (4) du fourreau (7) et la chape (11) de la tige de guidage (10), et un moyen (14) solidaire de l'extrémité de la tige de guidage (10) et en appui sur la paroi d'extrémité (8) du fourreau (7) pour retenir le ressort (13) précontraint à l'état détendu.
