Abstract:
본 발명은 휴대단말기에서 키 동작장치 및 그의 제어방법에 관한 것으로, 움직임센서의 출력값과 특정 기준값을 비교하여 키 동작을 제어함으로써, 물리적으로 키 버튼을 입력하지 않아도 키 입력을 인식할 수 있는 휴대단말기에서 키 동작장치 및 그의 제어방법에 관한 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 발명은 휴대단말기의 기울임신호를 감지하여 전압값으로 출력하며, 상기 기울임신호의 범위에 따른 최소전압값에서 최대전압값을 출력하는 움직임감지 센서부와; 상기 휴대단말기에서 키 동작을 수행하기 위한 기준전압값이 저장되며, 상기 움직임감지 센서부에서 출력되는 최소전압값에서 최대전압값까지 변하는 삼각파를 일정주기로 상기 움직임감지 센서부에서 출력되는 전압값에 입력하는 기준전압부와; 상기 움직임감지 센서부에서 출력되는 전압값과 상기 기준전압부에 저장된 기준전압값을 비교하여 비교값을 출력하며, 상기 움직인감지 센서부에서 출력되는 전압값과 상기 기준전압부에서 일정주기로 입력되는 삼각파를 통해 키 동작시간을 나타내는 펄스 값을 출력하는 비교부와; 상기 비교부에서 출력되는 비교값에 따라 스위칭부가 온/오프 되는 전기적인 스위칭부와; 상기 전기적 스위칭부와 연결되어 상기 전기적 스위칭부가 온 될 때, 키를 동작시키는 물리적 위칭부와; 상기 비교부를 통해 상기 움직임감지 센서부의 전압값과 상기 기준전압부의 기준전압값을 비교하도록 제어하고, 상기 비교부에서 출력되는 비교값에 따라 상기 전기적 스위칭부가 온이 되면 연결된 상기 물리적 스위칭부를 통해 키를 동작시키도록 제어하며, 상기 비교부에서 출력된 펄스 값에 따 라 상기 키 동작시간을 제어 하는 제어부로 구성됨으로써, 상기 휴대단말기의 사용자는 물리적인 키 입력 없이 상기 휴대단말기의 움직임만으로도 키 동작을 수행할 수 있는 효과가 있다.

Disclosed is a method for communication using a Push To Talk (PTT) call traffic scheme in a mobile communication system including the steps of selecting, by a calling mobile communication terminal, at least one subscriber with whom the calling user wants to communicate through the PTT call traffic scheme, and selecting one of a plurality of predetermined importance levels of a PTT call request message; transmitting the PTT call request message having the selected one importance level from the calling communication terminal to the selected subscriber's mobile communication terminal via a PTT server; confirming the one importance level included in the PTT call request message which the called mobile communication terminal has received; and providing, by the called mobile communication terminal, a predetermined alarm message indicating a reception of the PTT call request message in response to the confirmed one of the importance levels of the PTT call request message.

본 발명은 이동통신 단말기에서의 씨알씨를 이용한 플래시 메모리 다운로드 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 원격지 컴퓨터에서 다운로드할 실행 소프트웨어에 대해 플래시 블록 단위로 데이터의 씨알씨 값을 계산하는 단계와; 이동통신 단말기에서 내부의 플래시 메모리에 기저장된 실행 소프트웨어에 대해 플래시 블록 단위로 데이터의 씨알씨 값을 계산하는 단계와; 상기 계산된 씨알씨 값을 비교하여, 상이한 씨알씨 값을 갖는 플래시 블록의 데이터를 다운로드하는 단계를 포함하는 방법을 구비하여 구성된다. 따라서, 본 발명은 이동통신 단말기에 내장된 플래시 메모리에 실행 소프트웨어를 다운로드하는 경우, 다운로드할 실행 소프트웨어에 대해 플래시 블록 단위의 씨알씨 값과 상기 플래시 메모리에 기저장된 실행 소프트웨어에 대해 플래시 블록 단위의 씨알씨 값을 계산한 후 비교하여, 상이한 씨알씨 값을 갖는 플래시 블록의 데이터만을 선택적으로 다운로드함으로써, 상기 실행 소프트웨어의 다운로드시 불필요한 데이터의 재전송을 방지하여, 전체 실행 소프트웨어 다운로드 시간을 단축하는 효과가 있다.

PURPOSE: A call connection method when mutually requesting a call simultaneously is provided to reduce a probability of call failure by flexibly processing calls. CONSTITUTION: A caller terminal requests call setup from a callee terminal(S10). An origination MSC(Mobile Switching Center) requests home location registration from the caller terminal and registers a home location in an origination HLR(Home Location Register)(S20). The origination MSC analyzes an MAP(Mobile Application Part) message and stores a caller's phone number and a callee's phone number in an MAP storing unit(S30). The origination MSC attempts call connection to a termination MSC(S40). The termination MSC checks whether the callee terminal is busy(S50). If the callee terminal is busy, the termination MSC checks whether the callee terminal is requesting call setup(S60). If the callee terminal is requesting call setup, the termination MSC checks a phone number requested for the call setup(S70). If the call setup request phone number is the same as the caller's phone number(S80), the origination MSC does not request call setup from the termination MSC and performs call connection in response to the request signal of the termination MSC(S90).

PURPOSE: A mutual call processing device between switching centers is provided to confirm mutual calls by confirming an originated number and a called number, respectively, when a calling party and a called party simultaneously call each other, and to set a communication path with the called party based on the calling party, thereby immediately connecting mutual calls. CONSTITUTION: A local line unit(100) inputs/outputs call connection request signals and communication signals. A call setup unit(200) compares a called number of a called party with an originated number of a calling party if a communication line of the called party is occupied, and sets the communication path based on the calling party if the compared numbers are identical. A number translator(300) translates and outputs paths of a local number and a receiving number. A subscriber unit(400) monitors the occupied state of the communication path by a control signal while reporting the monitored results to the call setup unit(200), and transmits a communication signal in connection with the called party.

Apparatus and method for providing personalized information from a service provider to a plurality of users using mobile terminals. Specifically, at least one content server stores content in at least one content database. Additionally, at least one subscriber database stores personalized user profiles. A plurality of base stations respectively provide wireless communications coverage over a plurality of cells between the at least one server of the service provider and the mobile terminals. Upon receiving a user request for content, the content server searches for the requested content based upon the spatial, temporal, and user preference information stored in the subscriber and content databases. Once the requested content is retrieved, the content server provides search results to the mobile terminal.

PURPOSE: An apparatus for implementing a vocoder in a digital mobile communication system is provided to implement a virtual vocoder processing function through a logical mapping, without mounting receivable maximum physical vocoders for CCP(Call Control Processor) capacity measuring. Therefore, a cost and time for measuring a CCP capacity are remarkably reduced. CONSTITUTION: OAs(Vocoder Assemblies)(25,25a) report physical vocoder states to a CCP(Call Control Processor)(21) through an IA(Interface Assembly)(24). The CCP(21) recognizes that 1920 physical vocoders are mounted in the OAs(25,25a). The CCP(21) designates an optional vocoder to allocate the vocoder, by using physical addresses. A physical address of the allocated vocoder is transmitted to the OAs(25,25a) through an LCIN(Local CDMA Interconnection Network)(22) and the IA(24). The OAs(25,25a) process the physical address of the vocoder by 16 to 1, and map the processed physical address in an optional physical vocoder. The OAs(25,25a) report the mapped vocoder as if the vocoder is a normal vocoder to the CCP(21), to make the CCP(21) continue call processing.

In example embodiments, a system and method for keeping calls connected are provided. A call is initiated between a first user device and a second user device each of which has a connection application for maintaining communications. A call maintenance option provided by the connection application is activated on the first and second user devices. A determination is made that one of the first user device or the second user device is a call manager, whereby the call manager is responsible for reinitiating the call in response to the call being dropped. Detection that the call is dropped is made. In response to the detection that the call is dropped, the call manager reinitiates the call while the non-call manager waits in a standby mode for the reinitiation of the call.

Some embodiments of the present invention include placing a smart device and a peripheral device in pairing mode; detecting at least one pairing motion event with a dual use piezo circuit within the peripheral device; transmitting an indication of the occurrence of the at least one pairing motion event to the smart device; receiving in the smart device the indication of the occurrence of the at least one pairing motion event in satisfaction of at least one pairing condition; and pairing the smart device with the peripheral device in response to satisfaction of the at least one pairing condition.
