Abstract:
Abstract:
The lifting device comprises abiased slide shoe adapted to be slidable with respect to a member of an openable structure, a lifting arm having two ends, one end adapted to be pivotally connected with a member of the structure and the other end associated with said slide shoe, and a braking device comprising at least one brake shoe slidable on a respective brake face of said lifting device, said braking device modulating the force resulting from the bias on said biased slide shoe. An adjusting device is adapted to adjust said progressive modulation of said force resulting from the bias on said biased slide shoe, and comprises a manipula- tion member, which when manipulated by a user activates said adjusting device to adjust a brake force of said brake shoe exerted on said brake face in a given position of said brake shoe.
Abstract:

Abstract:
The invention regards to a mechanism for the aligned closure of sliding doors (1 - 3), in particular for furniture or compartments (Vl - V3) with two or more doors, with a sliding door (1, 2 or 3) for each compartment, and where each compartment opens by sliding and overlapping of one door with one of the adjacent doors and closes in alignment with the adjacent doors. The mechanism consists of a single bracket (10) for each door, one end of the bracket (10) being fixed on the door, and its opposite end being equipped with a first sensing bearing (13) to run along a cam guide (70), said bracket (10) being suitable for inclination and transversal movement with a carriage (30), which also allows it to slide along a rail (50) to be positioned on the upper surface of the compartments. The carriage (30) can be adjusted transversally and the bracket (10) can move axially in relation to the carriage (30). An arm (14), one end of which is firmly attached to the bracket (10), while the other end (14a) is equipped with at least a second sensing device having a bearing (15, 15'), can run along an other longitudinal cam guide (60) using the same bracket (10) for inclination and movement.
Abstract:

Abstract:
A hinge system for opening a cover pivotably connected to a device housing. The hinge system includes a rotating member (26) in the device housing and a shaft (20) connected between the cover and the rotating member (26). A non-rotating member (28) in the device housing receives the rotating member (26) and a spring (30) connected to the device housing and biased to rotate the shaft (20).
Abstract:
A kit (1) for assembling a variety of different door configurations adapted to be installed within a predetermined range of dimensions, onto a specific door opening (7) defined within a fixed structure (9) and contained within said predetermined range of dimensions. The kit (1) includes first components (11) for assembling a specific door leaf (13) shaped and sized for substantially covering the specific door opening (7). The kit (1) also includes second components (15) for mounting onto the fixed structure (9) of the specific door opening (7), the second components (15) including components (15) for assembling a track system (17) along which the specific door leaf (13) is configured to travel. The kit (1) also includes third components (19) for assembling a counterbalancing system (21) operatively connectable between the specific door leaf (13) and the fixed structure (9) for counterbalancing the specific door leaf (13) with respect to said fixed structure (9). The components (11 ,15,19) of the kit (1) are configured to be selectively adjustable along given increments for assembling a specific door assembly (23) representative of dimensions (25,27) of the specific door opening (7), and the components (11 , 15,19) of the kit (1 ) are further configured to be provided with adjustment means (29), and corresponding marking systems (31) representative of given increments, for selectively adjusting parameters of the components (11 ,15,19) of the kit (1) in response to the specific door leaf (13) being used for assembling the specific door assembly (23).
Abstract:
The invention relates to an emergency opening device for a preferably automatic two-panel sliding door having an energy storage element embodied by a rubber belt (6). Said rubber belt (6) is on one side irremovably fixed in a support (9) and on the other side removably fixed to a holding device (7) by means of a slide (8). During normal operation of the sliding door the pretensed rubber belt (6) has no effect. The holding device (7) releases the slide (8) with the rubber belt only in an emergency, such as a fire or power failure. The slide (8) interacts with the pulley carriages (5b) of the sliding door and by means of the energy stored in the rubber belt (6) moves the sliding panels (1a, 1b) into the fully opened position. To prevent a sudden, severe impact of the slide (8) against the pulley carriage (5b) the slide (8) comprises a friction brake (82, 83, 84). This brake (82, 83, 84) is released by a control device (56) only after the slide has contacted the pulley carriage (5b) so that the entire energy stored in the rubber belt (6) is then able to act upon the pulley carriage (5b). When the emergency is over the rubber belt (6) is tensed during the first closure of the sliding door by the movement of the pulley carriage (5b) and again fixed to the holding device (7).
