Abstract:
A closure (10) for an automotive vehicle has a sheet body (18) mounted for pivotal movement about a rotational axis between open and closed positions. A pair of parallel stiffeners (39) extend in a parallel relation from the rotational axis and each stiffener (39) has a body or web (40) with a mounting flange (41) extending in perpendicular relation from one end of the web (40) and a bowed flange (42) extending from the opposite end of the web (40). The flanges (41, 42) have free edges and an inturned bead or curl (44, 46) is formed on each free edge for stiffening of the flanges (41, 42).
Abstract:
A horizontal floor, wall or roof structure (10) having a plurality of spaced parallel joists (12),each joist (12) having a vertical web (40) with upper and lower flanges (41, 42) extending from the web (40). Each flange (41, 42) has a free edge with a tubular bead (44, 46) extending along each free edge and having an elliptical cross-section wherein the minor axis is at least 20% of the major axis. A floor, wall or roof member (18) is supported over the metal joist (12). A preferred method of forming a horizontal reinforced concrete floor, wall or roof structure (10) for a building includes mounting a wire mesh material (16) over the upper flanges (41) of the joists (12), and pouring concrete (18) in a flowing condition onto the concrete forms (14) over the mesh material (16) and over the upper flanges (41) of the joists so that curing of the concrete (18) provides a horizontal reinforced composite concrete wall structure (10).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rail hidden type window and door system, including a lower window (or door) frame having a rail cover attached on a main window (or door) frame, a rail hidden by the rail cover and formed on a concave portion of a window (or door) of the main window (or door) frame of an inside of an inlet, and inlet gaskets mounted on a surface member and the rail cover; and a lower window (or door) member having a lower portion enhanced by a supporting portion, an extending portion having a roller supporting member on which a roller groove is formed, and a roller device mounted in the roller groove. Accordingly, the window (or door) is not removed from the rail and is stably opened and closed, while keeping the sealing state to minimize heat loss and preventing water from infiltrating into the interior.
Abstract:
A sliding window and door system includes a window frame lower member provided with surface members and rail filling device grooves in a window frame base member, a window frame upper member having a window frame base member similar to the window frame base member of the window frame lower member, and rail filling device grooves acting as supporting grooves to which upper insertion portions of window leaf upper members are inserted, the window leaf upper members being provided with control rollers mounted in the upper insertion portions to prevent the window leaf from being detached, thereby forming an even structure.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an arrangement (100) for reversible glazing-in of an open space, with at least one covering unit (102) carried on roller elements (103, 104, 105) between guide rails (106, 107). When in a predetermined position, each covering unit (102) is able to perform a pivoting motion while being arrested from horizontal transport by a parking station (112, 113). One or several of the covering units (102) comprise(s) a third roller element (105), wherein all three roller elements (103, 104, 105) comprise spherical shapes or truncated spherical shapes. The guide rails (106, 107) comprise substantially tubular profiles (114) having inner surfaces which partially enclose the three roller elements (103, 104, 105) during the horizontal transport and at least the first (103) and the second (104) roller element during the pivoting motion. The first and/or second hinge device comprises a recess and/or a protuberance (116, 117), arranged for receiving or being inserted in, and for cooperating with at least one protuberance and/or at least one recess (118, 119) of the parking station during the pivoting motion. The invention is implemented in connection with open spaces such as balconies, terraces, patios and the like.
Abstract:
A simplified window winder device that integrates the items for changing the direction of the cable, as well as the items for fixing to the rest of the vehicle in one single part, in which the components can be joined together by welding, rivets, bolts, adhesives or any other system of connection available. The rail (1) includes devices to receive the motor casing, the slide and, in turn, has means for fixing to the rest of the vehicle. The ends of the cable are connected directly to the sides of a slide which is on board the rail, with this rail being provided with guides and a projection for its connection to the window pane. This configuration, with an integrated motor, enables the elimination of different items from the classic Bowden system - spirals, nozzles and tension adjustors - which results in a the greater economy of the system.
Abstract:
The privacy screen (10) provides a simple, effective solution to provide visual privacy for the traditional open workstations of office panelling systems (2). The privacy screen can easily be retrofitted to existing systems without the need for specialized panels or overhead mounting structure at an opening threshold. The privacy screen is mounted to overlap with a face of a panel adjacent a panel and extend there beyond to close the entryway to the workstation.
Abstract:
A door system (15) for a bathing enclosure which includes a track (22) extending above an opening of the enclosure with the track having a rail (34) with an upper surface having a longitudinal groove (38). A door (31) has first and second rollers (42, 72) which ride in the rail groove (38), so that the door (31) is suspended from and slidable along the track (22). A separate stop is associated with each roller (42, 72) with each stop having a locking bracket (60) fixed to the door (31) and a member (64, 74) is movably attached to the locking bracket. The members (64, 74) are adjustable between a first position at which the respective roller (42, 72) may be removed from the groove (38) and a second position at which the member strikes the track (22) before the respective roller (42, 72) can be removed from the groove (38).
