The invention relates to a device for opening and closing a movable furniture part, in particular a drawer (1), door, leaf, or the like, whereby the movable furniture part (1) may be locked and released, and may be pressed in by a specified distance and then extended. According to the invention, the device has at least one locking element and at least one push-out element which is separated from the locking element. The invention further relates to a furniture part having such a device.

A hinge assembly system (200) includes a hinge assembly structure (210) and a driving structure (220). The driving structure includes a driving shaft (50), a gear (60) and a sliding unit (70). The gear engages with the driving shaft in a manner such that the gear may drive the driving shaft to rotate but the driving shaft cannot drive the gear to rotate. The sliding unit includes a rack (72). The rack drives the gear to rotate. The driving structure provides a force allowing the hinge assembly structure to cause the hinge assembly to rotate.

A cover opening and closing mechanism switches a cover body on a corresponding surface of a main body between a closed position for closing the corresponding surface and an open position for opening the same. The cover opening and closing mechanism includes a forcing device for always urging the cover body toward the closed position; a push button; a switching device having a cam facing the button, an acceleration gear engaging a gear part provided on the cover body, and a striker; and a latch device for locking the striker in the open position of the cover body and releasing the lock when the button is pushed. The switching device switches the cover body from the closed position to the open position against a force of the forcing device.

A brake assembly for locking a vertical or horizontal slidable sash window or door within a track of a frame is disclosed. The track has an elongated base and a pair of spaced apart, opposed sidewalls extending perpendicular from the base. Each sidewall has an inner shoulder spaced from and parallel to the base. The assembly has a slider body having a central opening extending from a front face of the body to a rear face of the body. The slider body has a side opening in each side of the slider body and being in communication with the central opening. A pair of brake members are provided wherein one brake member is slidably positioned within a respective one of the side openings. A cam has a rear face and a front face, and is adapted to receive a pivot member mounted on either the sash window or door. The cam is positioned in the central opening and is adapted to be rotatable within the opening by the pivot member. The cam, slider body and brake members include cooperative structure for converting rotary motion of the cam into radial movement of the brake members through the side openings and axial movement of the cam and slider body to lock the brake assembly within the track.

A power drive system is adapted for a sliding door mounted on at least one side of a vehicle for sliding movement forwardly and rearwardly of the vehicle. The system includes a reversible motor. A bracket is guided within a guide along a fixed path between the opened and closed positions of the door. An elongated drive member is slidably disposed within the guide and connected to the bracket at one end for driving the bracket along the fixed path. A translator mechanism operably engages with the drive member for powering movement of the door. The translator mechanism can include a rotatable hub, operably engageable with the drive member, a gear transmission for driving the hub, and a clutch mechanism for connecting the motor to the transmission. The translator mechanism preferably has sufficient power to pull the sliding door into a primary latch position with respect to the corresponding portions of a latch mechanism attached to the door and frame defining the door opening. A power striker moves the door into and out of sealing engagement with the frame. A lock mechanism selectively maintains the latch in a locked position. At least one sensor provides an input signal to a control system corresponding to movement of the door, position of the lock mechanism, and position of the power striker for controlling the door drive unit, power striker drive unit, and lock mechanism drive unit in accordance with a program stored in memory.

An industrial sliding door has one or more panel assemblies, each panel assembly having a track panel secured to a header and a swinging panel hinged at the inner edge of the track panel to pivot in either direction about a vertical axis if the swinging panel is impacted by a vehicle such as a fork lift. Both panels can also pivot in at least one direction about a horizontal axis. A rail mounted stationary relative to the doorway at the lower edge of the door holds the lower edge of the door in proximity to the doorway and is disengagable if the door is hit from the opposite side, to permit the door panel assembly to swing about the horizontal axis away from the doorway. The swinging panel is held by a detent in the plane of the track panel in a normal position.

A device for opening and closing a window portion of a slide door includes a window regulator mechanism having a lift arm whose opposite end portions are connected to a pane and a driving mechanism respectively for moving the pane in the upward and downward directions when the driving mechanism rotates the lift lever in opposite directions. An opening condition detection mechanism has a movable member associated with the lift arm so as to be movable together with the lift lever and a detection member linked to the movable member for indicating whether or not the window portion is closed by the pane.
