Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair having shape memory sponge mounted on the backrest. SOLUTION: The chair having a shape memory sponge mounted on a backrest comprises a backrest, a seat, and leg portions for supporting the backrest and the seat. The backrest includes cut holes vertically formed with respect to the center portion to a given depth at both sides. A backrest cushion is inserted into each of the cut holes so as to protrude a given distance toward a user's back. A fixing plate is mounted at the rear side of each of the cut holes. In the backrest cushion, a part neighboring the spine of a sitting person is raised highest and a position corresponding to the side of a sitting person is formed into a round shape with a predetermined curvature. Thus the backrest cushion has advantages that it can be used by all persons regardless of physique and, moreover, it is prevented from getting flat or being clasped even when it is used for a long period and, further, from beginning it stably protects the spine of a sitting person and makes a sitting person comfortable by highly tight contact effect in moving forward and rearward and right and left. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical reaction system in which calorific value transferred from a high temperature reaction device to a low-temperature reaction device can be adjusted, and provide a fuel cell system in which electric power generated by the fuel cell can be utilized effectively in exterinal equipment. SOLUTION: A high temperature reactor 20, a low-temperature reactor 30 in which reaction is carried out at a temperature lower than that of this high-temperature reactor 20 and a heat conduction coupling member 50, equipped with a transmitted heat quantity adjusting mechanism 40, are installed where by coupling between the high-temperature reactor 20 and the low-temperature reactor 30 and varying the cross-sectional area for heat conduction in a way of heat conduction becoming possible, the heat capacity, transferred from the high temperature reactor 20 to the low temperature reactor 30, can be adjusted. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a textile fabric responsive to change in moisture or temperature. SOLUTION: A textile fabric includes a smooth surface with one or more regions having a bound coating of hydrogel exhibiting expansion or contraction in response to change in relative humidity or exposure to liquid sweat or a combination thereof, adjusting insulation performance, air movement, and/or liquid management of the textile fabric in response to ambient conditions. As a result, the hydrogel exhibits the expansion or contraction in response to the change in the relative humidity or the exposure to the liquid sweat or a combination thereof, and adjusts the insulation performance, the air movement, and/or the liquid management of the textile fabric in response to the ambient conditions. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device (system) capable of reading bits efficiently and quickly. SOLUTION: A data storage device includes a conduction barrier 214, a probe tip 208 mounted on a suspension mechanism 202, a voltage source 204 coupled to the suspension mechanism 202 for emitting a current of electrons through the conduction barrier 214 and a sensing mechanism 220 to 224 for sensing a magnitude of the emitted current, wherein the magnitude of the current of electrons emitted through the conduction barrier 214 is based on a distance between the probe tip 208 and the sensing mechanism 220 to 240.
