Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquefied natural gas storage/transport ship that reduces the amount of natural gas generated when liquefied natural gas (LNG) is loaded into a liquefied natural gas ship on-board storage tank and which minimizes the amount of excess gas generated due to LNG loading.SOLUTION: The liquefied natural gas storage/transport ship is provided with a liquefied natural gas ship on-board storage tank 2 which stores the liquefied natural gas in an supercooled state, wherein a top liquefied natural gas introduction system 20 is provided to allow loading of the liquefied natural gas to be loaded by introduction into the tank from near the top of the tank, and also, when the liquefied natural gas is loaded into the liquefied natural gas ship on-board storage tank 2, the tank pressure is raised, increasing the boiling point so that the loaded liquefied natural gas assumes a supercooled state.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a floating body type liquefied natural gas production, storage and shipping facilities.SOLUTION: The floating body type liquefied natural gas production, storage and shipping facilities include a plant 3 for generating liquefied gas from natural gas; tanks 5-1 to 5-3 for storing the liquefied gas; and a floating body 2. The cross-sectional shape of a ship body cross-sectional shape changed section 14 installed between a plant section 15 for installing the plant 3 and a tank section 12 for installing the tanks 5-1 to 5-3 in the floating body 2 becomes more similar to the cross-sectional shape of the tank section 12 as it becomes nearer to the tank section 12, and becomes more similar to the cross-sectional shape of the plant section 15 as it becomes nearer to the plant section 15. Compared with other floating body type liquefied natural gas production, storage and shipping facilities in which the plant section for installing the plant and the tank section for installing the tanks are directly connected to each other, the floating body type liquefied natural gas production, storage and shipping facilities 1 is less susceptible to stress concentration between the plant section 15 and the tank section 12, and is less susceptible to breakage, thus being highly reliable in terms of strength of the ship body.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compactly constituted and easily handled liquefied gas reliquefying device. SOLUTION: This liquefied gas reliquefying device 1 is provided for reliquefying BOG vaporized from LNG in a cargo tank 3, and has a refrigerating machine group 20 arranged in a secondary refrigerant circulating flow passage 24 for circulating nitrogen having the condensing temperature lower than the BOG and liquefying the nitrogen, a carrying pump 22 for carrying liquid nitrogen cooled by the refrigerating machine group 20 in the secondary refrigerant circulating flow passage 24, and a heat exchanger 12 arranged in the secondary refrigerant circulating flow passage 24 and condensing and liquefying the BOG by exchanging heat between the liquid nitrogen and the BOG carried by the carrying pump 22.
