Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for transferring the organic molybdenum passing through the vapor phase to a fuel burner from a lubrication resource is provided to reduce the deposits in an intake manifold including an intake valve and an exhaust valve by transferring the organic molybdenum into a combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION: An organic molybdenum resource is guided into the vapor phase in an engine from the liquid phase of the lubricating oil in a crank case(22) of an internal combustion engine. The organic molybdenum resource is transferred into a combustion chamber from the vapor phase through an intake manifold including an intake valve(24). The organic molybdenum resource is the volatilized vapor containing the organic molybdenum resource or small oil drops in the vapor phase of the crank case including the organic molybdenum resource.

Abstract: A stainless steel wire is plated with nickel (Ni) to a thickness of from not less than 1 mu m to not more than 5 mu m. An inorganic salt coat film mainly composed of at least one of potassium sulfate and borax (borate) and free from fluorine (F) or chlorine (Cl) is then deposited on the nickel (Ni) plate 2 as the substrate. Abstract: PURPOSE: Novel lubricant and friction modifier compositions optionally comprising a solid lubricant and a binding agent in water medium suitable for lubricating steel-steel interfaces such as tractor-trailer couplings, rail-wheel systems and other heavy duty applications, are provided. Abstract: A grease composition sealed in a rolling contact bearing contains a base oil in the form of a mixture of an alkyldiphenylether oil and a poly-(alpha)-olefin oil. The weight ratio of the former to the latter is between 20:80 and 80:20. 5-40% by weight of thickening agent which is at least one of an aromatic diurea compound and an aromatic urea-urethane compound is added to the base oil. Further, a passivation oxidizing agent and an organic sulfonate are added.

A mixture of a lubricant base material composed of an inorganic compound and an organic compound is formed into the lubricant wherein at least the lubricant base material has a powdery or granulated form. The lubricant of the present invention allows for the production of high quality forging in a forging work, with good workability and without worsening environmental conditions.
