    Abstract: An aqueous one step type lubricating agent for efficient cold forging, characterized in that it comprises (A) a water-soluble inorganic salt, (B) a wax and (C) a metal salt of a fatty acid in a form dissolved or dispersed in water, wherein weight ratios of solid contents are 0.60 to 0.70 for (B)/(A) and 0.1 to 0.3 for (C)/(A). The water-soluble inorganic salt can be selected from among a sulfate, a silicate, a borate, a molybdate and a tungstate. As the wax, use can be made of a synthetic wax being dispersible in water and having a melting point of 70 to 150 DEG C. As the metal salt of a fatty acid, use can be made of a reaction product of a saturated fatty acid having 12 to 26 carbon atoms with at least one metal selected among zinc, calcium, barium, aluminum and magnesium.
