The invention relates to a drive unit for automatically actuating a vehicle door, especially the tailgate of a motor vehicle. The inventive drive unit (4) can be connected to the vehicle door (1) or a transmission device (6) via an output shaft (5), said transmission device (6) performing a pivoting movement that corresponds to the pivoting movement of the vehicle door (1). The drive unit (4) comprises at least one first sensor unit (7) that can be connected to an electronic evaluation unit (21) and detects the respective angular position of the vehicle door (1). The aim of the invention is to make use of the advantages of an incremental measurement of the position of the vehicle door (1) without having to wait for the vehicle door (1) to reach its final position to be able to recalibrate following a power outage. Said aim is achieved by dividing the entire pivot angle (α) of the vehicle door (1) into at least three successive zones (pivot angle ranges) (α1-α4), the individual pivot angle ranges (α1-α4) being determined by a first sensor unit (7) that detects absolute values. The pivot angle of the vehicle door within the individual zones (α1-α4) is then detected with the aid of a second sensor unit (8) which encompasses at least one incremental measuring transducer.

The invention relates to a piece of furniture comprising a body (1) and at least one flap (2) that can be upwardly displaced by means of at least one actuating arm (3) which is joined to the flap in an articulated manner and can preferably be pivoted about a horizontal axis. At least one actuating arm (3) is subjected to the action of a spring device (4), and at least one electric drive (5) acts on at least one actuating arm (3, 3'). A coupling device (40) acts between the electric drive (5) and the actuating arm (3), said coupling device having a free wheel for freely displacing the actuating arm (3) into an open position and/or a closed position, in at least one rotary direction over a defined angular region.

The invention relates to an actuating mechanism (1) for a swivel-mounted actuating arm (2), especially for driving a lid (3) of an item of furniture. Said mechanism comprises a spring device (5) including a biased actuating element (13) and a translatory mechanism (7) which translates the movement of the actuating element (13) into a swiveling movement of the actuating arm (2). Said translatory mechanism (7) comprises at least one adjusting device (8) for varying the translation ratio between the movement of the actuating element (13) and the swiveling movement of the actuating arm (2).

The invention relates to a hydraulic drive for a turning sash, comprising a door-closing element (1) having an eccentrically positioned pinion (6) comprising a circular working curve. Said pinion intermeshes with a toothed rack (5) arranged on a piston (4), causing a particular embodiment of the working curve and the teeth (9) of the toothed rack (5), adapting to an involute toothing of the pinion (6). The invention aims to improve the closing delay in order to obtain an optimum movement sequence of the piston (4) in the housing (2) of the door-closing element (1).

According to the invention, a variable transmission is provided in the sense of an essentially constant load of the drive motor over the entire regulating distance, especially an increased transmission when arriving in the closed position, in order to increase the work load of the actuating drive motor (1) while providing an improved jamming prevention of a closing part. Said closing part is, in particular, a motor vehicle window pane (2) which can be displaced by a transmission, especially a cable drive drum (3 or 4). For this, the drive motor, for example, is not to be designed with regard to the maximal load when arriving in the closed position and, at the same time, a rapid jamming prevention is possible due to the slower speed when approaching the closed position.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Drehtürantrieb mit einer elektromechanischen Vorrichtung, die das für das Öffnen und Schließen der Tür notwendige Schließmoment liefert, dabei wird das sich über den Öffnungswinkel der Tür in seinem Übersetzungsverhältnis ändernde Getriebe eine mit einer Abtriebswelle verbundene Führung und eine relativ zu der Führung und in dieser translatorisch bewegbare Mitnehmerrolle umfaßt, die mit einem in eine mit der Federanordnung in Verbindung stehende Zahnstange eingreifenden Ritzel verbunden ist, wobei die Drehachse der Abtriebswelle zu der Drehachse des Ritzels und die Drehachse der Mitnehmerrolle zu der Drehachse des Ritzels in vorbestimmten Abständen voneinander angeordnet sind, derart, daß beim Verdrehen von Abtriebswelle und Ritzel infolge des sich dabei ändernden Achsabstandes zwischen Abtriebswelle und Mitnehmerrolle sich das Übersetzungsverhältnis ändert.
