    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device which is capable of properly demonstrating a function for controlling inflow/outflow of a fluid by suppressing reduction in sliding property of a main valve due to a dimension change caused by the fluid to be used.SOLUTION: In a valve device 1, an operating valve 13 performs conversion between a state where a fluid can flow into and flow out of a third flow passage 8 and a state where the fluid can not flow into and flow out of it, consequently, the balance of power acting on the main valve 3 is changed, the main valve 3 is slid within a cylinder 2 so as to be abutted on a valve seat member 9 or separated from the valve seat member 9, and the inflow/outflow of the fluid is controlled between a first flow passage 6 and a second flow passage 7. Since the sliding surface 16a of the main valve 3 is formed of a metal material, a dimension change due to swelling or shrinkage caused by exposure to a fluid to be used can be suppressed. Further, since a portion of the main valve 3 to be abutted on the valve seat member 9 is formed of a resin material or a rubber material, the sealing property of the portion to be abutted on the valve seat member 9 can be improved.
