    Abstract: An improved door rail system for holding a panel, such as a glass panel, is presented. The door rail system includes a core rail and clamping rails having a wedging geometry so that when the clamping rails are actuated with respect to the core rail, clamping force is applied to the glass panel to secure the panel within the core rail. The improved door rail system accommodates panels of varying thickness, features the use of modular side covers and incorporates a door to door jamb adjustment device allowing for angular adjustments.

    Abstract: An improved base shoe for use with the panel installation and removal system described in U.S. Pat. Nos. 8,122,654 and 8,201,366 is presented. The improved base shoe featuring dovetail grooves for use with a safety-seal weather seal, wherein the safety-seal weather seal must be installed prior to installing a glass panel. The safety-seal weather seal eliminates a safety risk incurred by installers who attempt to install a press in seal at an outboard base shoe to glass panel interface of an installed panel and base shoe. In an alternative embodiment, the improved base shoe features a recess for use with taper plates having a continuous projection along an upper surface. The base shoe and taper plates are configured so as to provide a prying surface between the projection on the taper plates and a wall of the base shoe.

    Abstract: An improved roller latch bolt that asymmetrically locates the roller within a roller support is presented. The improved design allows for a roller to make contact with a ramp surface of a corresponding strike plate on a sweep side of the plate and allows for the roller support to make contact with the strike plate on a latch side of the plate. The improved roller latch bolt maintains the smooth operation of roller latch bolts while also providing the increased door security and other benefits of non-roller latch bolts.

    Abstract: A fascia mounted railing system that uses brackets that secure the posts to the slab while also providing base support for the infill panels without the use of a base rail. It does this by using a bracket to secure the posts and a second bracket that fits within the bottom of the post. This bracket has end flanges that extend outwardly from the post to support an infill panel. The infill panels can have a base treatment to conceal the face of the slab, if desired, for a more aesthetically pleasing appearance. In addition, the system has the capacity for a top railing that can be attached to the back of the posts as a grab rail, or attached to the top of the posts (with a bracket) for a top rail.
