    Abstract: An improved base shoe (12) for use with the panel installation and removal system described in U.S. Patents Nos. 8, 122,654 and 8,201,366 is presented. The improved base shoe (12) featuring dovetail grooves (22) for use with a safety-seal weather seal (24), wherein the safety-seal weather seal (24) must be installed prior to installing a glass panel (30). The safety-seal weather seal (24) eliminates a safety risk incurred by installers who attempt to install a press in seal (26) at an outboard base shoe to glass panel interface of an installed panel (30) and base shoe (12). In an alternative embodiment, the improved base shoe (12) features a recess (66) for use with taper plates (62) having a continuous projection (64) along an upper surface. The base shoe (12) and taper plates (62) are configured so as to provide a prying surface between the projection (64) on the taper plates (62) and a wall (18) of the base shoe (12).

    Abstract: An improved door pull assembly for glass doors having inner and outer horizontal pull members, as well as a vertical pull member is presented. The door pull members have a cross-sectional shape in the form a "D," wherein the curved portion of the D faces inwardly towards the door glass. The D-shaped cross- section better fits the human hand and therefore a user is less likely to lose his grip on the pull when opening a glass door.

The hinge system is self-closing or self-centering and includes angular adjustability in two planes to aid in door alignment.     Abstract: A push pad exit device comprising a horizontal push bar actuator mechanically linked to a vertical door handle assembly, for use on the interior side of entrance doors where a means of emergency egress is desired, is presented. The operating mechanisms of the push bar actuator and vertical door handle assembly are concealed presenting a smooth uncluttered appearance. In one mode of operation, the push pad actuator may be moved inwards towards the door face causing the door to unlatch. The push pad exit device may also be equipped with a “dogging feature” which locks the push bar actuator in the unlatched position. In this mode of operation the door is unlatched and the push pad actuator may be used as a fixed door handle. The push pad exit device may also be equipped with a keyed lock on an external face of the door.

The door rail system includes a core rail and clamping rails having a wedging geometry so that when the clamping rails are actuated with respect to the core rail, clamping force is applied to the glass panel to secure the panel within the core rail.
