    Abstract: PURPOSE: To retract a work deck to an area not being influenced by tidal wave by developing to at least one working position in an area where a retractable deck is influenced by wave at the time of tidal wave and retracting to a second stand-by position out of the area where the retractable deck is influenced by wave. CONSTITUTION: A platform 10 has one retractable work deck 20 and is constituted free to carry out free and unrestricted work without being troubled by a lower part fixed deck under the lower part fixed deck extremely congested with a valve, etc., of a well head. This retractable work deck 20 has a plural number of removable support panels, and it is possible to carry out work in the safest form by arranging them in a favourable form. Additionally, it is possible to develop this work deck at a position in an area having possibility to be tossed about by tidal wave under the lower part fixed deck 17. Consequently, it is possible to inspect and operate a device under the deck by easily approaching it.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To facilitate installation, and to improve economical efficiency by constituting a frame by modulating a reinforced lightweight tubular steel member, and constituting a drilling template by placing oil well pods on a frame having water fillable buoyancy tanks. CONSTITUTION: A drilling template 10 composed of a frame 12 and plural oil well pods 14 is arranged at the sea-bottom 11 of an oil well or gas well drilling place. This frame 12 is constituted by modulating a reinforced lightweight tubular steel member, and can be ballasted in desired weight by having water fillable buoyancy tanks 46, 48. Plural pod receiving opening parts 22... are arranged so that the required number of oil well pods 14 are placed. After obtaining a prospect of full production, a footing template is arranged around this. Thus, the drilling template 10 can be easily arranged and repaired, and footing template arranging time can be most properly selected.
